Collection, Segregation, and Scrapping of Metallic Waste Including Damaged or Discarded Equipment, Spare Parts from the Mechanical Maintenance Workshop, Storage Tanks, Pipelines, and Metallic Scrap Generated through Fabrication and Structural Works Across All Plants of FACT UC.

Collection, dismantling, segregation, and scrapping of metallic wastes including damaged/discarded spare parts of pumps, gearboxes, valves, weigh scales, etc., from the Mechanical Maintenance Workshop area, metallic waste generated from plate rolling and fabrication works at the Fabrication Shop area and in-house structural fabrication works carried out by the Mechanical Maintenance sections of various plants in FACT UC shall be transported to the Material Conservation Yard after weighing.All necessary tools and tackles required for dismantling and segregation, along with heavy equipment including vehicles required for the transportation of the collected scrap material, shall be within the scope of the contractor.

Cutting and removal of pipes from pipe rack. All necessary tools and tackles required for the fulfilment of aforementioned work, including scaffoldings, gas cutting equipments and all vehicles required for the handling, loading, and transportation of the collected scrap material, shall be within the scope of the contractor.

Cutting and scrapping of storage tanks.The scope of work shall include removal of bricks from the interior of storage tank, followed by removal of rubber lining from the inner and outer surface of tank plate for the purpose of recovering and disposing of the metallic scrap.Waste materials resulting from the scrapping of storage tanks i.e., rubber lining material and bricks, shall be safely transported to the conservation yard specified by the company at no extra cost.All necessary tools and tackles required for the fulfilment of aforementioned work, including scaffoldings, gas cutting equipments and all vehicles required for the handling, loading, and transportation of the collected scrap material are under the scope of the contractor.
