Repairs to the Carbon Brush Holder Assembly & Replacement of damaged Carbon Brushes of 1000KW,11kV SRIM by way of following works:

Providing of Epoxy Insulators of Carbon brush holder assembly of 1000KW HV slip ring motor as per sample

Providing of Epoxy insulator spacers of Carbon brush holder assembly of 1000KW HV slip ring motor as per sample

Providing of Insulating Tube 410mm long as per sample of Carbon brush holder assembly of 1000KW HV slip ring motor.

Providing of brass brush holder with pocket size 50mm/25mm of Carbon brush holder assembly of 1000KW HV slip ring motor as per sample.

Repairs to Carbon Brush Holder Assembly by way of Disconnecting of Power & Control for complete isolation of the whole Carbon Brush Holder Assembly & then extracting it from the motor safely without any further damage. The job then includes disassembling the whole assembly in order to remove the damaged epoxy resin isolators/spacers, stuck damaged carbon brushes etc. The job further includes servicing of all the parts of the Carbon Brush holder assembly and cleaning of carbon brush holders and the Copper Slip Rings of the motor with emery/sand papers, files, Petrol & Diesel oil etc so that all the carbon brushes stuck in the holder, carbon deposits, dust, foreign contaminants etc are removed. After thorough cleaning of the slip rings & the whole Brush holder assembly, the whole Brush holder assembly is to be reassembled properly after replacing the damaged parts with the new ones and tested with the Resistance Insulation Tester.
