| 1 | Over hauling of existing rolling shutters, including cleaning the entire rolling shutters, greasing of the pipe shaft, side guides, springs, ball bearings, inner and outer locking arrangement, gear arrangement, tightening of springs etc. including removal and refixing of complete shutter if require and all other such operations so as to ensure a smooth operation of rolling shutters, including cost of all labour, ladder, scaffolding, grease and other consumables complete as per the specifications and as directed by the Engineer. Note: 1) Payment is per no. basis irrespective of size of the shutter, rolling shutters once overhauled should be maintained by the contractor during the next six months at their cost for smooth operation. However spare parts required if any will be paid separately under relevant items.2) Spares like Shafts, Springs and Bearings, laths, handles, gear mechanism etc. will be paid separately under the relevant items.3) Cost of all other consumables required shall be borne by the contractor.4) Shutters of the following sizes are existing in the Plant: 2.20x3.73 M, 2.65x3.45 M, 2.65x2.79 M, 2.61x 3.24 M, 2.87x 3.13 M, 3.9x3.96 M, 3.9x3.25 M, 3.2x3.43 M, 3.18x3.29 M, 3.18x3.69 M, 2016x3.66 M, 3.62x6.91 M, 3.12x4.21 M, 3.57x3.81 M, 4.53x5.36 M, 4.22x5.41 M, 4.22x4.96 M, 5.14x4.25 M, 4.35x3.63 M, 4.92x6.55 M, 4.6x4.84 M, 4.36x6 M etc. Shutter sizes are given for guidance only. Actual sizes may vary from shutter to shutter.)5) Rolling Shutter removing, maintenance & re-installation is to be carried out in single day. Contractor has to make all necessary arrangement for compliance of above situation. Failing to comply the above situation will attract a panel recovery of Rs. 5000/- against each shutter and the same will be recovered from the bill. |
| 2 | Supplying and fixing in position New Spare Parts for Rolling Shutters of approved quality including cutting to size, labour, ladder, scaffolding as required, tools and tackles including removal of existing damaged/ broken parts and replacing with new parts etc. complete as directed by EIC. |
| 3 | M.S. laths of 20 gauge as per existing patterns |
| 4 | Complete Bearing gear box assembely of approved make as per existing patterns |
| 5 | Complete Worm & Worm Wheel set assembely of approved make as per existing patterns |
| 6 | Complete repairing of existing Motors & its gear box assempbely including bearing, motor shaft, binding coil/ armature etc all fiting and fixture of approved make as per existing patterns. |
| 7 | Heavy duty MS pipe shaft of 2\\" NB confirming to IS : 1161 (6.19 kg/meter) |
| 8 | 38.0cm to 61.0cm/as per existing patterns long wire springs manufactured from high tensile steel wire of adequate strength conforming to IS: 4454 - part 1. |
| 9 | 1.2 mm thick hood cover made up of M.S. sheet |
| 10 | Rolling shutter Pulley as per existing pattern for smooth operation of rolling shutter. |

| 12 | Lock Plate reinforced with mild steel Tee or angle section including sliding bolts capable of being locked by means of padlocks both from outside and inside, pulling handles at both interior and exterior. |
| 13 | Painting old steel/wood work with two or more coats of synthetic enamel paint using 1st quality synthetic enamel paint of Asian Paints or equivalent including applying additional coats wherever required to achieve even shade and colour on steel/wooden surfaces, including preparing surfaces, scaffolding, filling with putty wherever required & cleaning etc. complete all as per specifications & as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
