Field Data Studies:Conducting Survey for land and water body using Total Station and other suitable instrument including apex to apex traverse showing all salient features like permanent structures, roads, culverts, nalla, HT lines, telephones, sewer lines, marking trees nos and list of trees, girth type of tree etc. and establishing true North at site as directed by the Engineer and preparation of drawing etc. complete. The fixing of traverse to be done with total station and plane table with conventional method. Taking levels at every 5m c/c grid in the given area and plotting of contours at 0.5 m intervals. Taking invert levels of the existing drains along the length of the drain culvert, inlets, outlets etc complete at 10m interval including rain water, sewer line, chambers and septic tanks and submit a separate drawing for the same showing the top and invert levels.Note: (1) Invert levels of all drains and chambers and their locations shall be clearly marked on the drawing.(2) Seperate drawings shall be provided indicating all invert levels of chambers , sewer &storm water drainage lines.(3) 3 sets of hard copies of the drawings in A0 size sheets shall be submitted alongwith soft copy. |

Geotechnical Investigation:Mobilisation and demobilisation of suitable boring plant and all other allied equipments like Minimum 2 boring rigs or as required number of boring rigs to complete the job in time, survey equipments and all other insitu tests equipments and manpower required to complete the scope of this work. |

Note : (1)Each Job shall be carried out by one qualified Degree holder with 2 (Two ) years experience/Diploma holder with 5(Five) years experience (Licentiate in Civil/Construction Engineering / Technology) conducted by Board of Technical Examinations / University/ Autonomous Govt / Govt recognized Polytechnic/ Institute. (2)Deployment: The contractor shall deploy one Engineer for each job for minimum 26 working days per month for minimum 8 ½ hours per day with 30 minutes of break, in General (Ist / IInd) or on Round the clock shift including Saturdays, Sundays & holidays whenever necessary as per the discretion of the Engineer-in-Charge during the contract period. In case of emergency works like continuous pouring of concrete or shutdown/maintainance work, the person will have to stay longer occasionally as per the instruction of the Engineer in-charge. No additional payment will be made on this account.(3) Period of work: The contractor shall carry out number of Jobs per month as per requirement at site for the period mentioned in NIT.(4) Mode of measurement : Measurement will be per job basis. A single job shall be carried out by deploying one engineer exclusively for the particular job.(5) Engineer should be engaged after scrutiny by EIC of CED, BARC and approved by Competent authority and the deployed Engineer will report to BARC Engineer/ EIC. (6) The minimum notice period before change of engineer is 1 (one) month; failing which a compensation, for not providing technical support, of Rs. 1,563/- per day of shortfall in notice period will be levied on the contractor. |

The Pick-up Van / Utility Van of minimum five seaters capacity with the back side provision for transporting/ shifting of various construction /maintenance materials, machinaries and tools etc. and for other works including Driver as assigned and directed by Engineer-in-Charge (8Hrs. a day or 60 km max as per certification of Engineer-in-Charge). Notes 1. The above rates shall be inclusive of cost of supply of Pick-up Van / Utility Van, Fuel, wages of Drivers and other consumables etc. 2. The Reporting time at the place of duty / as instructed by EIC shall be considered for the billing / measurement / payment. 3. In case the pick up van is parked inside BARC premises then the reporting time of the driver to EIC shall be considered for the billing/ measurement/ payment. 4. Break Down Hours as per actuals and Lunch break (30 min.) timings shall not be considered for payment. 5. Fraction of hours shall be rounded off to nearest half an hour at the time of preparing the Running / final bills 6. BARC being a restricted place, the driver should have good credentials and shall have valid Police Verification / Clearance Certificate (PVC), driving license and address proof. They should be in a position to understand Hindi / English / local language. 7. The make and model of the vehicle should not be more than 8 years old, roadworthy with all valid documents. 8. The vehicle shall be maintained in good running condition with good upholstery, fitness, good tyres and shall commensurate with the image of BARC. The tyres of the vehicles shall be replaced periodically for safe and incident-free driving. 9. The vehicle should be free from all sorts of defects and will be subjected to inspection by a representative of BARC whose decision shall be final and binding as regards suitability of that particular vehicle. 10. The vehicle should be a transport vehicle and preferably in white colour with a board \\"ON GOVERNMENT OF INDIA DUTY\\". 11. The cost of POL, maintenance and servicing of 'vehicle including replacement of parts, payment to the driver, Motor Vehicle taxes, comprehensive insurance, etc. shall be payable by the Contractor and BARC shall have no liability on these accounts. 12. The cost of damages to any Government movable/immovable property in and around the site shall be entirely borne by the Contractor. 13. The rates quoted shall be inclusive of all taxes, duties, levy or cess, fee, royalty charges etc. levied under any statute but exclusive of GST (Good and Services Tax).14. The contractor shall arrange adequate insurance coverage for his personnel. Department shall not be responsible for any liability arising out of any accident / injury caused to the driver while executing the job. 15. The contractor shall follow minimum wages act and other rules of Government of Maharashtra. 16. No revision of price shall be entertained during the period of contract. 17. Hours more / less than 8 Hrs. a day will be paid / deducted on pro-rata basis. 18. In case of absence of Driver/vehicle for entire week, a compensation of Rs. 3000 /- per week, for not providing the service, will be levied on the contractor for that week. |
