The work include adding required quantities of pesticides/insacticides/fertilizers & then planting the desired species of the tress and is staking if required. The rate includes maintenance period of 01 years consisting of regular watering, feeding, manure and fertilizer periodically and spraying with pesticides when required. The maintenance & cost also includes cutting, prunning etc and replacing of plants in case of mortality of the plants :- |

| 11 | Lawn : Supply and laying of lawn of selection No1 grass ready made of approved quality and approx size of carpet (2feet x 1 feet) or (3 feet x 1 feet) turfing side by side without undulations and depressions and ramming the surface and maintaining by regular weeding gap filling with skilled labour etc, complete all as specified and directed.Note : Following activities/works to be carried out at site for plantation of grass selection No 1. (i) Ploughing of whole site in ordinary soil upto a depth of 30cm and removing unwanted materials such as stones, weeds, tree roots etc which are not suitable for healthy growth of grass.(ii) Dressing and levelling of soil to a required gradient and slope after loosening of soil.(iii) Mixing and spreading of good earth, manure and fertilisers as directed.(iv) Fine dressing of the ground to required slope and gradient towards the manhole.(v) Grassing with specified grass including watering unit establishment of lawn.(vi) Final levelling by spreading sand and good earth mixture (fertilised earth to be brought from out side MoD Land to be included in the unit rate), manuring, fertiliser, ATT chemicals etc as and when directed. |
| 12 | NOTE : The rate of all item No 01 to 03 shall includes maintenance period of 01 years consisting of regular watering, feeding, manure and fertilizer periodically and spraying with pesticides when required. The maintenance & cost also includes cutting, prunning etc and replacing of plants in case of mortality of the plants by employing one full time Mali for 01 year from date of completion of work. |
