| 2 | Supply, install, testing and commissioning of silent Diesel Engine Generating set factory assembled, floor mounted 415 volts, 3 phase, 4 wire engine as per IS: 10001/10002 and alternator as per IS: 13364 of capacity 58.5 KVA at site complete with AMF panel for automatic starting on mains failure, control panel having meters, sound proof canopy as per CPCB IV norms etc including neccessary foundation & plinth work of DG set all accessories as per manufactures standard and as per the details given below :-AC Generator should be suitable for ambient conditions at Varanasi (UP) and confirming to IS. Note: The capacity of generater set shall be net after all derating factor as per relavent IS design.(a) Alternator: Synchronous alternator for continuous opeartion at 1500 RPM generating 415 volt at 0.8 PF suitable for 50 hz, three phase 4 wire system. The alternator shall be brushless, single bearing, self excited & self regulated with an AVR.The alternator will be suiatble for tropiacal climate and shall generally conform to IS: 4722. The salient faetures of the alternators are :-(i) +- 1% voltage regulation (max) in static conditions. (ii) IP 23 protection with H insulation (iii) Permanent lubricating bearing (iv) Permissible overload 10% for one hour in 12 hours of operation. |
| 3 | (b) Diesel Engine: Having adequate capacity for 58.5 KVA alternator and BHP suitable for capacity for 58.5 KVA alternator, water cooled to drive alternator with cold starting with an over load capacity of 10% for one hour in any 12 hours continuous running complete with all standard accessories all as specfied. 12 V, 180 AH battery starting system or as recommended by manufacturer, Maintanance free battery with initial charging, residential type exhaust silencer with RECD complete with exhaust pipe, hour meter, water temp gauge, oil pressure gauge, Fuel tank with capacity for full load non-stop 8 hrs running.(c) Sound proof Canopy:- All as per stipulated in CPCB IV norms & the Govt of India.(d) AMF Panel: Supply, install, testing and commissioning of AMF Panel outdoor type, cubical body, dust and vermin proof made up of CRCA sheet 3 mm thick painted with two coats of synthetic enamelled paint over a coat of red oxide primer confirming to IP 45 with front and rear opening with louvers and mounted on floor with PCC pedastal pillars with a clearence of atleast 0.3 m above ground level with glands sockets etc with provision of cable entry from bottom all pre wired and connected complete with following accessories:-(i) PLC-01 No. (ii) Power Contactor heavy duty suitable for generator and mains. (iii) Over load relay for Genset. (iv) Suitable rating isolating switch MCCB for both DG & main .Specification :-Exhaust System: (i) Expansion below. (ii) Exhaust manifold with inbuilt RECD as per CPCB norms IV.Cooling system : For Water cooled (i) Engine water pump. The foundation for DG set shall be made of PCC as per OEM recommendations. The size of platform shall be as per manfacturers recommendations complete all as specified and directed.(iii) THE DHPP (fuel) required for testing of DG set shall be arranged by the contractor and the cost of the same shall deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted for DG set.(iv) Phase -1 test shall be carried out by Engineer-in -Charge for no load for 1 hour and phase II test shall be carried out in presence of IEM /El for a period not less than 12 hours continuously out of which at least half an hour each on NO load and 25% load, two hours on 50% load and four on 75% load, four hours on rated full load and one hour on 10% excess of rated full load.(v) DG set shall be composite type with control panel, primer mover alternator and allied accesories in one enclosure.(vi) DG set shall be inspected in factory premises before dispatch by representative of the Accepting Officer. |

Model G-80.Note: If earth result not found less than 3 Ohm at site, the contractor will redo the earthing to achieve the desired result and no extra payment shall be made to the contractor. |
