| 1 | Excavation in soil in hilly areas by manual/mechanical means in all heights and depths and in all kind of soil including saturated soil comprising of mixed soil,ordinary rock, hard rocks. All work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion,damages to hill side, water polutionetc. and to protect stability of hill side.Rock shall be excavated with chiselling and wedging out of rock (where blasting is prohibited). All earth work in cutting / excavation includinh rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines, side slopes, width, camber, super elevation and level as shown as the drawing and as directed by Engineer-in-charge in conformity with the requirments of MORD technical specification for Rural road section 300 and 1600 to achieve designed formation width including hauling and stacking of useful materials and for construction of suitable sites safe manner and disposal of all surplus material to the approved dumping sites through all modes of transportation including head load or animal transport or mechanical means along with its leveling, fine dressing and carriage of machineries, materials, tools, equipments and safety measures and incidentals necessary to complete the work by mechanical means and labour if required. During the mobilization period , contractor should take the advanced x-sec in 15m (Fifteen metre) interval of whole road length in the presence of Engineer-in-charge or his representative . In case the advanced x-section has been taken in the presence of Engineer-in-charge representative , in that case the same has to be got approved from Engineer-in-charge.The land for dumping site shall be arranged by the contractors himself and nothing extra shall be paid on this account, filling of unevenness blind age and finishing of the road to specified dimensions or as directed by Engineer-in-charge for smooth riding.The recovery for stones, whether usefull or 10840.363 (Ten thousand eight hundred forty point three sixty three)per cubic metre at the rate of 300 /- (Rupees Three hundred)per cubic metre amounting to Rs. 32,52,109/- only shall be effected on prorate basis in all circumstances. Any loss to the public and private property during the course of excavation shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor, which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases. | 2 | Earth work in excavation for all type of road structure such as retaining walls, breast walls, culverts, drains and parapets etcetra in all kind of classification of soil including saturated soil comprising of ordinary soil, ordinary rock, hard rocks, chiselling/wedging out of rocks (where blasting is prohibited) as per drawings and MORD technical specification 2014 section 300 and as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious materials and disposal of materials upto all leads and lifts including dressing of sides , bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated suitable approved material to the original surface in layer not executing 150 mm( one hundred fifty millimetre) compacted thikness including shoring, strutting, pumping and bailing out water (surface and sub soil water ) up to any depth any quantum of water including cleaning of slush which may arise out during dewatering complete as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials with-in all leads and lifts and other incidentals .
