Guidelnes for quoting the % rate by the bidder.1. The rate shall be quoted by the bidder in % (Percentage) only on the DSR – 2023.2. Bidder is required to quote only one value for percentage which will be applicable to Schedule (Sub Head I and Sub Head-II).3. Bidder should note that the rates calculated for all the items in Sub Head II of Schedule A are made at par with the rates of DSR 2023 items.4. Bidder shall quote rate only in % (Percentage) on Schedule - \\"A\\" (Sub Head I and Sub Head II) wherein 100 is base.5. Bidder may please note that the payment of DSR 2023 Items quoted shall be regulated as follows to arrive rates excluding GST.Rate of item as per schedule A (DSR 2023 Items + Additional Miscellaneous Items) = ‘X’ Rate to be considered for payment = (‘X’/1.2127) x (100±Quoted percentage) /100 (Ex.GST)6. Thereafter GST (as applicable) shall be calculated on the gross value of work executed.7. The percentage rate shall be quoted in digits only without applying any sign of (+) or (-)Following are some examples for quoting the % rate by the bidder:- a) If Bidder wants to quote 5% below the Schedule A (Sub Head I and Sub Head II) rates, then the bidder has to quote 95 in Envelope-II/ Price Bid without any (+) or (-) sign. (Since 100 is base value of Schedule A(Sub Head I & Sub Head II) and as bidder wants to quote5% below the Schedule “A\\" means value 5 is subtracted from base value 100 and quote becomes 100-5 = 95)b) If Bidder wants to quote 4% above the Schedule A (Sub Head I and Sub Head II) rates, then the bidder has to quote 104 in Envelope-II/ Price Bid without any (+) or (-) sign. (Since 100 is base value of Schedule A (Sub Head I & Sub Head II) and as bidder wants to quote 4% above the Schedule “A\\" means value 4 is added from base value 100 and quote becomes 100+4 = 104).
