Surface preparation, Chipping of unsound/weak concrete material from slab, walls etc. with manual Chiesel and/ or by mechanical means or cleaning the exposed concrete surface with wire brushes etc. and disposal of debris for all lead and lifts.

Providing and applying water proofing treatment for the treatment of the slab which consist of following operations such as- Washing of surface with clean water to clear the micro fine particles from the waterproofing area. All the area where waterproofing job will be taken should be closed for normal foot traffic till complete curing of water proofing job. All the cracks to be repaired and filled with polymer modified mortar. Repaired area will be required to cure for one day before application of waterproofing coating on the surface. The well cleaned, dry and levelled concrete surface shall be primed with cement based waterproofing compound Nitobond SBR Latex or equivalent (diluted with water in a ratio of 1 Part waterproofing compound: 4 Part Water: 5 Part Cement applied at coverage of 10sqm/1ltr after dilution) followed by application of two coats of Brushbond RFX Grey, high performance Elastomeric cementitious waterproof coating of minimum 1 mm thickness. After curing for two days, the glass fibre mesh is laid on the surface along with the two coats of the waterproofing compound. After that two final coats of waterproofing compound to be done to seal the surface with Nitroseal PU-40 or equivalent. Quantities are mentioned above are tentative and Actual Quantity shall be worked out after Check Survey to be carried out by the successful Tender and detailed Engineering and finalization of Tower location Chart.Payment shall be made as per Approved Bill of Material/Actual Quantities measured at site.
