Excavation in foundation and trenches etc. (in pipes and pits) in all kinds of soils such as pick work, jumper work, blasting in soft/ hard rock, chiselling/ wedging out of rock (where blasting prohibited) saturated soil stacking the excavated earth within all leads and lifts clear from the edge of excavation and then returning the stacked soil in 15cm layers when required into plinth sides of foundation etc. consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering and then disposing of all surplus excavated earth as directed within all leads and lifts including uprooting of trees dressing of beds, and sides and preparation of sub-grade, restoration of unmetalled/ metalled/ paved surfaces to its original condition including soring, strutting, timbering and dewatering where ever houses, fixing caution boards, crossing over trenches complete in all respect as per direction of Engineer in charge with in all leads and lifts.

Circumferentital butt welding joints 150 mm dia by electric arc welding to various dia GI Pipe welded as required number of weld runs so mass to achieve minimum effective throat thickness of welding confirming to IS 1239-2004 specification by using welding electric rods confirming to I.S 814-1991 at site of work complete in all respect as per direction of Engineer in charge wtih in all leads and lifts.

Laying & jointing in trenches galvanised iron pipe 150 mm dia butt welded bends of parent tube confirming to BIS 1239 latest up to date ammendment with out M.S Flange confirming to be BIS 6392-1971 including welding in two layer complete in all respect as per direction of Engineer in charge with in all leads and lifts.

Laying, jointing with circumfrential butt welded joints by electrical arc welding ( welding thickness shall be equal to pipe wall thickness) and testing of GI pipe of following diameter Confirming to IS 1239-1990 (Part-II), having wall thickness as specified below capable of with standing required test pressure, including manufacturing and febrication of reducers/ tapers , all short pieces, etc. as per site requirement made from parent tubes . The laying of pipe shall also include flanged joints duly welded in three layers (Two ineer & one outer), where ever required as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge (Earth work in trenches and the cost of providing flanges i/c nuts & bolts, gasket will be measured and paid for separately) and all operations such as cutting, welding, jointing, fabrication of tees i.e. lowering and laying in excavated trench to ensure required level including flushing, cleaning and hydraulic testing complete in all respects to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer in charge. The welding electrodes shall be as per IS 814 of Advani Oerlikon/ L&T or ISI marked make. The damaged portion of the pipes and all the specials (if damaged during laying & jointing operation of pipe) made form the parent tube shall beprovided anticorrosive bituminous paint over a priming coat as per AWWA specifications C-203-1978.The rates also includes entire carriage of material, flushing, cleaning & hydraulic testing, D.P test of butt welded joints complete in all respect and to the best satisfaction & direction of Engineer in charge with in all leads and lifts.
