| 1 | Material and Labour for Preparation of existing black top surface of road by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the surfaces by mechanical compressor to remove all loose dirt and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with paving bitumen VG 10 grade @ 5 Kg per 10Sqm of road surface and laying bituminous premixed semi dense asphaltic concrete 30mm thick (consolidated thickness) using binder (Bitumen VG-30 grade) contents @ 5.5 % by weight of total mix, mixed in Hot mix Plant and laid by using self propelled mechanical paver, rolled and compacted to required camber & gradient using 8 to 12 tonne power roller/tandem vibrating roller to achieve uniform smooth surface complete all as specified and directed.Note: (i) The combined grading of aggregate shall be as per Para 20.B.2.5.4(d) & 20.B.4 of SSR Part-I. (ii) Contractor shall quote his rates by considering binder content @5.5% of total mix by weight. However in case of any variation in weight of binder as per actual design mix, the same shall be paid by the contractor. |
| 2 | Material and Labour for Repair to potholes depth of potholes exc 30 mm, not exc 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) and making good by applying tack coat of paving bitumen (VG-10) @ 5 kg per 10 sqm, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 kg per 10 sqm, blinded with 0.09 cum of stone chippings, 6.3mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings), complete all as specified. System mounted over 47mm dia steel tube powder coated of length 600mm having sheet foot for firm grip to ground. Delineator to have additional reflective bands. System workable for 2-3 days (nights) after full charge for 8-10 hours complete all as specified and as directed. |

| 8 | S&F in repair factory made retro reflective road sign board comprising of 2 nos 2mm thick aluminium sheet plates of size 1200 x 800mm fixed back to back in 40 mm bore stainless steel pipe frame with aluminium / stainless steel rivets and flats of suitable size. Both the plates to be provided with computerised cut directional arrows, alphabets, lines and symbols etc with white colour reflective tape with font size and thickness as directed over Dennison HIP base green reflective background sheets. Top height of boards with legs from ground level minimum 2.5m including embedding in PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 blocks of size 45x45x60cm including excavation, Removal of Excavated Soil and taking out old boards (any type and size) all as per sample kept in GE office and as directed by Engr-in-Charge). |
