| 1 | M&L for Site clearance by cleaning away all shrubs, grass vegetation, bushes, weed, sapling and trees n exc 30cm girth, measures at a height of one metre above ground level, useful material shall be stacked and rubbish/useless materials disposed off upto a distance outside periphery of the area under clearence and burnt or otherwise disposed off as directed. Roots of trees and saplings shall be removed by digging out roots upto 60cm below the ground level or 15cm below formed in the ground while digging out of roots shall be carefully filled up with earth, well rammed and levelled. Boulders which may interfere with the work shall be removed, after breaking down if necessary complete all as specified and directed. |

The materials are mechanically mixed, spread and levelling on the subgrade by using motor grader of adequate capacity, and rolling with vibratory roller of capacity 80-100 KN static weight for achieving required compaction density of atleast 98% of the Maximum Dry Density. Consolidating to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed with finished surface tolerances as per table 900-1 of MoRTH specifications for Road and Bridge works, 2013. |
| 15 | M & L for 200 mm thick (compacted thickness) WBM in two layers each layer 100 mm thick with coarse aggregates (Granite trap or Basalt) of grading 1 (90 to 40mm size), each layer spread, rolled with 8 to 10 tonne power roller and consolidated to gradient and camber required of granite trap/basalt, all as specified and as directed. |
| 16 | M& L for preparation of unsurfaced water bound macadam surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with paving bitumen at the rate of 10 Kg per 10 Sqm of road surface,with as specified and as directed. |

| 19 | M&L for preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5mm thick centre lines stops lines, dashes, arrows etc and the like n. exc 10cm wide on road pavements with Hot thermo plastic imported road marking material strips confirming to British specification 37621989 with 20% glass beads having reflective index 1.5mm, 75% spherical indigenous or for foundation and having sufficient strength to withstand heavy load without deformation and having softening point 25 to 30, strips in white or golden yellow according to IRC35-1970 complete all as specified and as directed. |
