| 7 | Cutting out inspection pockets of maximum area 1 square meter in insulation over pipings, vessels, columns, equipments etc. (upto 5 m from ground level) including cutting out of existing aluminium cladding & insulation, thoroughly cleaning the surface with wire brush or any other method as approved by the Engineer Incharge followed by providing all material and re-insulation of the pockets in original thickness along with refitting of aluminum cladding with all necessary tools, tackles, materials such as binding, stitching wire, labour etc. LRB mineral wool mattresses shall be of density 140 to 150kg/m3 conforming to IS:8183 and Internal polysurlyn coated Aluminium alloy sheet shall be as per ASTM B209 (alloy 3003 H14), 0.71 mm (thickness). Note: 1) Contractor has to make his own arrangement for procurement and storage of all the materials. 2) Anciliary items/tools tackles/manpower etc. has to be supplied by the contractor. 3) item includes disposal of the debris to the directed place within the unit in concern as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge. 4) The cutout pockets shall be reinsulated only after clearance from EIC. |

(Ceramic Blanket fibre shall be supplied free of cost from NRL store. All other materials, tools tackles will be on Contractor's scope of supply). |
| 12 | Providing and fixing box scaffolding system up to seven story height made with 40 mm dia M.S. tube 1.5 m centre to centre, horizontal & vertical tubes joining with cup & lock system with M.S. tubes, M.S. tube challies, M.S. clamps and M.S. staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for the required duration as approved and removing it there after .The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connection with the building etc wherever required for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc. as per directions and approval of Engineer-in- charge .The volume of the scaffolding works shall be measured for payment purpose . The payment will be made once irrespective of duration of scaffolding. |

However, contractor has to make their own arrangement for storage of all the materials.2) Other anciliary items/tools tackles/manpower etc. has to be supplied by the contractor. 3) item includes disposal of the debris to the directed place within the unit in concern as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge. |

| 17 | Calcium Silicate Insulation: All thickness: Removal of existing damaged worn out calcium silicate insulation, thoroughly cleaning the surface with wire brush or any other method as approved by the Engineer Incharge followed by fixing single/multiple layer Calcium Silicate Insulation over technological equipments like piping, columns, vessels, ducts or any other equipment., including fixing the insulation in position and securing the same properly with all necessary tools, tackles, materials such as binding, stitching wire, weather coating ,labour etc. The complete work shall be in accordance with the specifications laid down in the contract and in the latest IS standards as per the directions of Engineer-in-Charge.The item includes disposal of the debris to the directed place within the unit in concern as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge, return of scrap to NRL storeyard.Note: 1) NRL will issue Calcium Silicate insulation material on free issue basis. | 18 | Repairing of damaged refractory with specified materials, including breaking of old castable lining, removing / disposing the debris to designated locations within the Refinery, transporting the issued materials from Warehouse; cleaning the area of application; making all arrangements for castable lining including shuttering, casting the refractory, curing etc. complete as per instruction of EIC. (Refractory castable materials shall be supplied free of cost from NRL store. All other materials tools tackles, manpower will be on Contractor's scope of supply). |
| 19 | Fixing of Refractory Bricks of various sizes; including cutting/grinding with power cutting tools ; to the required size and shape; removal of damaged bricks from the equipment and disposal the same to the designated locations , providing backup insulation board wherever applicable, fixing the fresh bricks with mortar or self locking mechanism as per drawing, curing complete in all respect to the satisfaction of the Engineer In Charge.
