4	Receiving and taking over of all Owner supplied materials 2\\" and above valves from Owner's designated place(s) of issue, transportation including loading, unloading, handling from Owner's designated place(s) of issue to Contractor's own stock yard(s) / work site(s) / work shop(s) including arranging all necessary intermediate storage area(s) thereof, as required; supply of all materials (except those specified subsequently in SOR), equipment, consumables as defined in Contractor's scope of supply and their transportation to the work site(s); performing all above ground/buried piping fabrication works including cutting, edge preparation (inclusive of grinding the edges of pipes, fittings, flanges etc. to match with the matching edges of uneven / different thickness wherever required), fit up, bending, pre-heating wherever required, welding, threading etc.; erection of pipes of all types and thickness over sleepers, overhead on racks and at all elevations; hook-up with equipment nozzles; all types of inline and online instruments such as pressure / thermal safety valves (other than those covered separately), fittings of all sizes i.e., elbows, reducers, tees, 'o' lets, flanges, blind flanges, spectacle blinds, tapping's for pressure gauges, thermowells, hoses and hose couplings of all sizes, if applicable, vents and drains required for process and hydrotesting purposes etc. including fixing of all types of gaskets (including gaskets for RTJ flanges), bolts, studs and nuts of all sizes; carrying out non-destructive testing (excluding radiography covered subsequently in SOR) such as magnetic particle/ liquid penetration etc. as required; hook-up with existing piping / pipeline installed by others as per drawings wherever required; cleaning and flushing by water / compressed air, carrying out hydrostatic test, pneumatic test, valve functional test and any other type of testing as specified, de-pressurising, dewatering, drying by compressed air if applicable; cutting / rebeveling (as required), pre-commissioning and providing commissioning assistance to Commissioning Contractor / Agency for process piping and commissioning of non-process piping if applicable; clean-up and restoration of site, preparation of as built drawings, documents and project records; transportation of surplus free issue materials to Owner's designated place(s); completing all works in all respects as per the AFC drawings, specifications, standards and other provisions of Contract and instruction of Engineer-in-Charge.Note :-a) Installation of equipment shall be done by bidder as per directions, supervision and guidance of equipment manufacturer Engineer. Bidder shall inform at least 15 days before to owner for mobilizing of Vendor Engineer to site. Commissioning shall be done in presence & guidance of equipment manufacturer Engineer.b) All butt welded fittings end shall generally match with connecting pipe wall thickness. However, in case of misalignment, contractor shall have to do end preparation accordingly without any extra cost.c) All couplings, nipples, plugs for nipple etc. as required shall be supplied by contractor without any extra cost.d) All Gaskets & Nut-Bolts of adequate quantity shall be supplied and installed without any extra cost.e) All items fittings, flanges, valves, pipes below 2\\" shall be supplied & installed by the contractor under this item, Contractor to quote accordingly.f). 2\\" and above (fittings & flanges etc ), material supply is also in the contractor scope. It shall be be paid separately under relevant SOR item on actual basis.g) Any branch connection taken from mainline shall be considered under this SOR item only.No extra cost shall be paid for the above items.

187	WALL PUTTYProviding and applying wallcare Putty on plastered surfaces on internal walls for smooth and dry surface essential for painting, after removing all loosely adhering material from the wall surface. The substrate should be clean, free from dust, grease and loose materials. Dry and absorbent surfaces should be moistened with sufficient quantity of clean water. Apply the first coat on already moistened wall surface from bottom to upward direction uniformly. After drying of first coat of putty just rub the surface gently with west sponge or rub the surface very gently with the putty blade in order to remove the loose particles. Allow the surface to dry for atleast 3 hours and then apply second coat of putty. Leave the surface to dry completely. After drying of second coat remove marks if any with the help of moist sponge or rub the surface very gently with the putty blade. Leave the surface to dry preferably for overnight.The total thickness of the coats should be limited to maximum 1.5mm. Note:- Rates including providing necessary double scaffolding and surface preparation, thoroughly wetting surface and complete with curing. Rate to be applicable for all heights and levels.
