| 5 | Material and Labour for Wet mix macadam (WMM) 150 mm thick (compacted thickness) in layers of 75 mm each, using stone aggregate of grading as specified in table 400-11 of IRC by premixing the material with water at optimum moisture content in mechanical mixer plant laying in uniform layers with paver and compacting with vibrator roller to achieve the desired density complete all as specified. |
| 6 | Preparing Scarified Road surfaces and/or unsurfaced wet mix macadam surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a priming/ tack coat of paving bitumen VG-10 at 10 Kg per 10 Sqm manually or with mechanical sprayer all as required at site and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. |
| 7 | Material & Labour for premix bituminous macadam using 4.5% binder (paving bitumen VG-30 grade) by weight of total mix laid manually or with mechanical pavers (Consolidated thickness 75mm or lower), rolled and compacted to gradient and camber required with 8 to 10 tonnes power road roller all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. |
| 8 | Material and Labour for Murrum/red bajri filling in floors or paving, laid in layers not exceeding 15 cm thick, spread, levelled and rammed including watering complete all as specified and directed. |
| 9 | Scarifying or picking gravelled macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area not exceeding 400 sqm each and exceeding 50 mm deep but not exceeding 100 mm deep including removing the unserviceable materials / debris outside the premises not exceeding 50 meters away and disposal of the same all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. |
| 10 | Material & Labour for Repair to potholes any depth, not exceeding 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) making good by applying tack coat VG-10 @ 5 kg per 10 sqm, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 kg per 10 sqm, blinded with 0.09 cum of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings) average depth of potholes exceeding 30 mm complete all as per directed.Note: - Pot holes shall be marked by Engineer-in-Charge before commencement of work and the same shall be entered in MB after making good and before laying of bituminous premixed carpet. |
