| 2 | Fabrication and installation of a structural platform for placement of two numbers water storage tanks of 2000 litres capacity each . The platform shall be designed to safely support the load of two fully filled tanks along with the self-weight of the structure. The overall platform size shall be approximately 3000 mm × 1600 mm x 1000 mm to accommodate two tanks placed side by side with adequate clearance for safe operation and maintenance.The supporting structure shall be fabricated using 80 mm dia heavy C-Class MS pipes (Total - 330 kg for foundation , Cross bracing , M S pipe stair/ladder ) .The foundation of tank include vertical columns, horizontal beams and bracing members to ensure adequate load bearing capacity and structural stability. The top surface of the platform shall be provided with 8 mm thick MS sheet-280 kg , properly cut and continuously welded to the supporting frame to provide a rigid and uniform base for placement of the tanks.Each vertical column shall be provided with a MS base plate of minimum size 200 mm × 200 mm × 10 mm thick-15 kg , welded at the bottom of the column for proper load distribution. The base plates shall be securely anchored to the concrete foundation using suitable anchor bolts/fasteners to ensure stability of the structure.To ensure additional safety and rigidity, MS pipe cross supports shall be provided above the platform level around the tanks, forming a protective frame on all sides. These cross members shall help secure the tanks in position and prevent displacement due to heavy wind loads or external forces.A MS stair/ladder shall also be fabricated and fixed with the structure up to the platform level and further extended above the platform with a small access step arrangement, enabling the operator to safely reach the top portion of the tanks for checking water level, inspection and maintenance. Proper hand support/guard pipe shall be provided for safety while accessing the tanks.The platform shall be designed considering a minimum load of approximately 4500–5000 kg (two fully filled tanks of 2000 litres each including structural weight and safety factor). All MS members shall be properly aligned, cut, fitted and arc welded, and weld joints shall be finished smooth by grinding. The entire MS structure including pipes, plates and sheet shall be cleaned and coated with one coat of anti-corrosive red oxide primer followed by two coats of synthetic enamel paint for protection against rust and weather exposure.The complete job include fabrication, erection, welding, anchoring, painting, installation of stair/ladder, overhead cross supports and making the platform ready for placement of tanks, including all labour, materials and allied works,transporation , carriage cahrges of mateial. complete in all respects as per site requirements. |
| 3 | Providing of water storage tanks of 2000 litres capacity manufactured from 100% virgin food-grade polyethylene, suitable for safe water storage. The tank shall be of multi-layer rotational moulded construction with UV stabilised outer layer to protect against sunlight and weathering. The tank shall incorporate 4P protection technology (Anti-Virus, Anti-Bacteria, Anti-Fungus and Anti-Algae) with Active Silver antimicrobial technology to ensure hygienic water storage. The tank body shall have multi-ribbed structural design for enhanced rigidity and durability and shall be provided with a UV protected threaded lid/manhole cover to prevent entry of dust, insects and contamination. The tank shall be ROHS compliant, corrosion resistant and suitable for outdoor installation, available in standard colours The tanks shall be used for make-up water supply to the chiller plant system, ensuring continuous water availability for maintaining the required water level in the cooling system.The scope shall also include loading, transportation, unloading and carriage/hoisting of the tanks up to the roof level of the hospital building ( fifth floor) through suitable safe means such as manual labour, rope and pulley or lifting arrangement without causing any damage to the tanks or building structure. The tanks shall be carefully shifted to the designated installation location and placed on the prepared platform, complete in all respects as per site requirements |
| 4 | Installation of two numbers 2000 litres capacity overhead water storage tanks on the fabricated platform, including making complete make-up water supply arrangement for the chiller plant system. The scope of work shall include providing, laying and fixing of 32 mm dia MS pipeline (heavy class) - 50 metres in length for the make-up water line from the existing water source to the tanks. The pipeline shall be properly cut, threaded, aligned and installed with necessary pipe fittings and accessories such as MS/GI nipples, sockets, bends, tees, reducers, unions, clamps and supports as required for proper installation.The jobl also include providing and fixing suitable isolation valves, float valve arrangement inside the tank for automatic control of water level, and necessary inlet, outlet, overflow and drain connections for proper operation of the tank system. The pipeline shall be securely supported with MS pipe supports/clamps at suitable intervals and all threaded joints shall be properly sealed to ensure leak-proof operation.The job also include cutting, modification and welding of the existing chiller make-up water pipeline for providing new connection from the newly installed tanks, including edge preparation, alignment, arc welding with suitable electrodes, grinding and finishing of weld joints.
