| 2 | Excavation in foundation, trenches etc. in all kinds of soil such as pick work, jumper work, blasting work in soft / hard rock, chiselling in soft / hard including wedging out of a rock where blasting is prohibited including dewatering in saturated soil and stacking the excavated earth/metarials upto all leads and lifts up to all lifts, not exceeding more than 3.0mtr. clear from the edge of excavation and then returning the stacked soil in 15 centimeters layers when required in to plinths, sides of foundation etc. consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering and then disposing of all surplus excavated earth as per direction and to the entire satisfation of Engineer- in- charge up to leads and lifts. |

| 13 | Stone soling properly hand packed filling interstices consolidatimg with spalls and murrum or earth etc 100mm spread thickness (finished work including materials and labour complete in all respect with in all leads and lifts as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge. |
| 14 | Hiring of excavator cum loader for removal of slips in all kinds of soil and disposal of all excavated earth and un serviceable material from the road surface up to all leads and lifts and up all heights and dpths as per the direction & entire satisfaction of engineer in charge. Any loss to the public/ Private properties orany accident etc. happened during the course of hiring period/ execution shall be the absolute responsibilities of the JCB Excavator owner, which shall have to fully compensated by the contractor in all case. The fuel and operational staff for machine will be provided by the owner, repari and spare, watch and ward of the machine will also be borne by contractor owner, The daily log book will be maintained at site which shall be duly varified by the engineer in charge. |

| 17 | laying, jointing with circumfrential butt welded joints by electrical arc welding ( welding thickness shall be equal to pipe wall thickness) GI flanged pipes after every 100 mtr of pipe of following diametr .Conforming to IS 1239-1990 (Part-II), having wall thickness as specified below capable of withstanding required test pressure, including manufacturing and febrication of reducers/ tapers , all short pieces, etc. as per site requirement made from parent tubes.The M.S. Flanges are to be provided 5% of total joints and remaining 95% joints with butt welded joints as detailed below.(Earth work in trenches and the cost of providing flanges i/c nut & bolts, gasket will be measured and paid for separately) and all operations such as cutting, welding, jointing, fabrication of tees i.e. lowering and laying in excavated trench to ensure required level including flushing, cleaning and hydraulic testing complete in all respects to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer in charge. The welding electrodes shall be as per IS 814 of Advani Oerlikon/ L&T or ISI marked make. The rates also includes entire carriage of material, flushing, cleaning & hydraulic testing, D.P. test of butt welded joints complete in all respect and to the best satisfaction & direction of Engineer in charge with in all leads and lifts. |
