Earthwork in excavation by mechanical means (hydraulic excavation )/manual means in foundation pipelines trenches in all types of soft stratas comprising any of the materials such as soil ,silt, sand, clay ,gravels, moorum of all varietie, shingles .pebbles all types of conglomerates , laterite rocks ,ordinary rocks , weathered rocks and all such other materials as described under appendix A to these specification either in full or in parts as the case may be adopting any method as may be convenient or permitted inclusive of chiseling, wedging etc. in all conditions such as dry ,moist , foul saturated submerged etc. and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge etc. all complete in foundation pipeline trenches including dressing of sides, ramming of bottoms including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus soil for all lead and all lifts including barricading, danger lighting guarding as per direction of Engineer-in-charge .

Rubble packing with hard laterite stone under floors including watering ramming and consolidating etc. in pipeline trenches and other foundations complete.

Centering and shuttering including struttings propping etc. and removal of formwork for :;Foundations footings bases for columns and mass concrete.

Providing and laying in position cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand: 4 graded granitic or basaltic stone aggregate 40 m nominal size) excluding cost of centering shuttering and finishing :;In retaining walls return walls(any thk) including attached pilasters columns piers abutments pillars posts struts buttresses string or lacing courses parapets coping bed blocks anchor blocks plain window sills fillets etc upto floor five level.
