| 1 | Clearing light jungle area, bulb weeds, grass including cutting all unwanted plants, branches, twigs, wild growth etc. complete, and disposing the same 100metres away manually or burning them without disturbing other areas etc., complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Contractor must be informed to Engineer-in-charge and prior permission shall be obtained from him for burning the wild growth. |
| 2 | Earth work excavation for by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) or manual means for foundations, substructures, plant beam, cess pits and all kinds of foundation etc. in all types of soil like hard gravel soil, sandy soil for the following depth from average ground level upto the required founding level, line and grades in both dry and wet conditions including shoring, strutting, bailing out of water if necessary, levelling and ramming the bottom of trenches, dressing of sides, stacking the excavated materials away from the edge of trenches, refilling the sides of foundation as required with selected excavated earth and depositing / disposing the surplus excavated earth (disposed soil to be leveled by breaking clods, if any and neatly dressed and levelled) within the lead specified below all complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.All kinds of soil with depth upto 1.5m below average Ground level and disposing surplus excavated earth upto a lead of 50 metres. |
| 3 | Providing and laying plain cement concrete 1:4.5:8 using 25mm maximum size graded aggregate including machanical mixing, transporting and placing in required position, ramming, compaction, leveling, shuttering, curing, dewatering if any, complete all as per specifications for levelling courses in foundation for walls, footing, floor drains, etc as directed by engineer incharge complete all as per specification. |
| 4 | Manufacturing, supplying, hoisting and fixing in position at all lifts, precast units of various patterns and sizes for precast plain solid units, slabs, exhaust fan moulds etc., in reinforced cement concrete of 1:1.5:3, using 20mm and below machine crushed graded stone aggregate including weigh batching, mechanical mixing, casting, vibrating, finishing of exposed faces, curing, necessary formwork & moulds, transporting and placing at all lifts, preparation of connections, grouting with cement mortar/cement grout wherever needed excluding steel reinforcement complete all as per drawing, specification and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. |
| 5 | Providing, straightening, decoiling wherever necessary bending, cutting, binding and fixing in position steel reinforcement TMT bars of Fe500D grade steel conforming to IS:1786 'SAIL or VIZAG or approved equivalent make' and tying with approved annealed binding wire of 1.6mm dia in all reinforced cement concrete work at all lifts, including cost of supplying and fixing the spacer/cover blocks in cement mortar 1:2 and binding wire complete all as per specification and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge at all lifts.Note: The rate shall be including the cost of reinforcement steel. The reinforcement steel will be procured from dealers with a test certificate as approved by the department. | 6 | Providing and laying plain cement concrete 1:2:4 using 20mm maximum size graded aggregates including mechanical mixing, transporting and placing in required position, ramming, compaction, leveling, curing, shuttering, dewatering if any, complete all as per specification for leveling courses in foundation for walls, footings, floor drains etc., encasing pipes and other required works directed by Engineer-in-Charge complete all as per specifications. |
| 7 | Providing and constructing random rubble masonry in cement morter 1:6 using hard granite stones obtained from approved quarry with bond stones at 2.00 metres apart for storm water drain walls, including sizing of stones if required, raking out joints, curing etc., complete all as per drawing, specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge at all lifts. |
| 8 | Providing and forming dry stone pitching of 230mm thick over the filled earth surface including laying to the required grade and slope, packing and filling the intersects with broken stone and gravel, watering, compaction etc., complete in all respects all as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. |
| 9 | Providing plastering to the external surfaces of brickwork/concrete at all elevations in cement mortar 1:5, 20mm thick in two coats including hacking of concrete surfaces with pointed tool, scaffolding, finishing, curing, forming grooves wherever necessary, all as per specifications. |
| 10 | Supplying and filling the selected earth from outside of DAE installation (with a lead of 28 kilometres) including excavation from borrow pits if any required. Filling in layer of not more than 150mm thick, each layer well rammed and consolidated by mechanical roller including water consolidation etc. levelling, dressing the top surface to the required level, comlying with standard specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Proper trip sheet recordsshall be maintained for bringing the earth through DAE main gate with security stamp duly signed by Departmental Engineer. |
| 11 | Supplying and filling in basement with Quarry dust, filling in layers of not more than 150mm thick, each layer well rammed and consolidated by hand/mechanical roller including watering, leveling, dressing the top surface to the required level complete all as per specification and as directed by the Engineer.
