| 1 | Εxcavation in foundation trenches etc. in earth work in all kinds of soil such as pick work, jumper work, blasting work in soft/hard rock, chiseling wedging out of rock where blasting in prohibited saturated soil including bailing / pumping out of water, stacking the excavated soil in all leads and lifts clear from the edge of excavation and then returning the stacked soil in 15cm layers, when required into sides of foundation etc. consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering and then disposing of all surplus excavated earth as directed within all leads and lifts. |
| 2 | Laying jointing and testing in trenches HDPE pipe of following diameter and classes as per IS: 4984-1995 grade PE-80 class PN-4.00 and jointing the pipes through push type compression joints by hydraulically operated machine complete with butt (heat) fusion welded joints with necessary fittings such as bends, tees, reducers etc. fabricated in accordance with IS: 8360 and IS: 8008 with latest amendements and shall be provided as per site conditions. The flanging of the pipes shall be made as and where required conforming to IS: code 8008 and 7634, stud ends shall be fussion welded on pipes & flanges shall be provided with slip on covered by epoxy coating / plastic powder. The flanges should be conform to ANSI B 16.5 with necessary nuts and bolts (Earth work in trenches to be measured and paid for separately) in all leads and lifts and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge |
