| 1 | Excavation in earth work in hilly areas in all heights and depths in all kinds of soil including saturated soil comprising of mixed soil, ordinary rock and hard rock. All work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion, damage to hill side, water pollution etc. and to protect stability of hill side. Rock shall be excavated with chiseling and wedging out rock (where blasting is prohobited). All earth work in cutting/excavation, including rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines, grades, side slopes, widths, camber, super elevation and level as shown in the drawings or as directed by the Engineer-In-Charge, in conformity with the requirement of technical specifications for Rural Road, August 2004 and clause 16.2 of general conditions for contract ot achieve designed formation width including hauling and stacking of materials useful for construction at suitable sites and safe disposal dumping to be arranged by the contractor of un-suitable cut materials in specified manner, trimming, filling of unevenness, blindage and finishing of the road to specified dimentions including disposal of surplus materials with all leads and lifts at the locations specified in the tender documents or as directed by the Engineer-In-Charge for smooth riding. The recovery of the stone, whether useful or not, for 230.54 cum. In all cases, @ Rs. 300/-only per Cum. Shall be effected on prorta basis. Any loss to the public and private property during the course of execution shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor, which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases. |
| 2 | Excavation work by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means in foundation trenches or drains for all kinds of soil and ordinary rocks including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms upto all lifts including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed, within all leads and lifts including entire carriage of materials in all leads and lifts and as per drawings and technical specifications as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge including all incidentals.The rates are inclusive of octroi, royality, malkana, toll tax, sale tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government. |
| 3 | Providing and Laying plain cement concrete 1:4:8 (one cement :four sand : eight graded stone aggregate 40 mm (forty millimetre) nominal size) in open foundations complete as per drawing and technical specification clauses 802, 803, 1202 and 1203 including curing and carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per direction of The Engineer-In-Charge including all incidentals.The rates are inclusive of octroi, royality, malkana, toll tax, sale tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government. |
| 4 | Providing weapholes in brick masonry / stone masonry /plain reinforced concrete abutment, wing wall, return wall with 100 mm dia PVC pipe extending through the full width of the structures with slope of 1(V):20(H) towards drawing face complete as per drawing and technical specification clauses 614, 709, 1204.3.7 including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per direction of The Engineer-In-Charge including all incidentals. The rates are inclusive of octroi, royality, malkana, toll tax, sale tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government. |
