| 1 | M&L for preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud, sweeping with brooms and fanning the cleaned surface with air blower / power compressor to remove all loose dirt and applying evenly a priming / tack coat with bituminous primer (paving bitumen VG-10) @ 5 kg per 10 sqm over black top surface and laying bituminous premix asphaltic dense concrete (design mix) 40mm consoidated thickness with 6% binder content by weight of total mix (paving bitumen VG-30) rolled and compacted with 8 to 10 tonnes power vibratory road roller to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and directed.Note :- (a) Premix concrete shall be mixed in hot mix plant, transported from plant to work site and laid / spread by means of mechanical sensor paver.(b) Contractor shall quote his rate on this basis of binder as mentioned in above item if there is nay variation in the actual binder content used, the rate shall be adjusted @ Rs.45/kg lower side of binder used. However no price adjustment shall be made if the binder content works out to more than as specified in Sch 'A'. |
| 2 | M&L for preparation of road surface and applying thermoplastic reflective paint for marking of minimum 2.5 mm thick single coat as a centre line or edge line etc road marking of 150/100 mm width using \\"HOT MARK\\" thermoplastic paint (hot application) white / yellow by indigenous modern propelled road marking machine as directed including all ingredients such as bider, glass, beads, titanium dioxide, calcuim caronatre, inter filler etc thermoplastic requirement for glass beads shall be conforming to BS-6086 & MORTH specification including spraying of glass beads etc complete all as per manufacture's instruction complete all as specified and directed. |
| 3 | Rolling and consolidating prepared DAC surface by 32 hours (08 hrs per day) rolling with pneumatic roller to achieve the desired compaction and surface finish complete all as specified and directed by Engr in charge. |

| 5 | M&L for premix bituminous macadam (Design mix) (consolidated thicked 75 mm or less) with 4% binder content using paving bitumen VG-30 grade by weight of total mix laid and rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with 8 to 10 tonne power road roller complete all as specified and directed.Note :- (a) Premix Bituminous macadam shall be obtained from hot mix plant and spreading shall be done with mechanical paver and asphaltic dense concrete work shall be done within 48 hours after completion of rolling and consolidation of bituminious macadam.(b) Contractor shall quote his rate on the basis of binder as mentioned in above item if there is any variation in the actual binder content used in lower side, the rate shall be adjusted @ Rs.45/Kg. However no price adjustment shall be made if the binder content works out to more than as specified above. |

| 10 | Providing and laying 60 mm thick factory made chamdered edge cement concrete paver block of M-35 grade with approved colour, design & pattern over 75 mm thick cement concrete 1:3:6 type C-2 using 40 mm graded aggregate as in sub base flooring in footpath, parks, lawns, driver ways or light traffic parking etc of required strength, thickness & size / shape, made by table vibratory method using PU mould, laid in required colour & pattern over and including 50 mm thick compacted bed of coarse sand, compacting and proper embedding / laying in inter locking paver blocks into the sand bedding layer through vibratory compaction by using plate vibrator, filling the joints with fine sand and cutting of paver block as per required size and pattern, finishing and sweeping extra sand, including dressing of sub surface soil complete all as specified and directed. |
