Repairs to major/minor leakage at 04 spots (approximate 360cm/Spot) along 200/250 mm dia. M.S rising main by way of earth excavation with the help of manual labour/ Excavator and then cutting appropriate size of windows to the rising main by using oxyacetylene gas plant at site for cutting of window to M.S pipe in order to carry out welding works inside the pipe. After making window in the pipe the same shall be dewatered along with dug out trench using dewatering pump till the pipe becomes dry so that the welding works can be carried inside pipe. The job then involves cleaning of rust around pipe by chipping off rusted layers inside the pipe. The cracked portion of the pipe shall be plugged by using M.S flat plat of 3mm thick, 75mm width of suitable length to cover circumferential & longitudinal crack inside/outside the pipe. The job includes the hire charges on a/c of using D.G set, welding set, Gas cutter, load carrier, manual earth excavation, dewatering pump, manual labours, superior quality electrodes and skilled welder for completing the repair work.
