Cleaning of the boiler in PD-CPP including water wall tubes in the furnace area, bank tubes, LTSH, PSH, FSH, penthouse area, boiler drum interior, and drum internals, after providing adequate scaffolding arrangements. Cleaning and removal of accumulated soot from the flue gas ducts, air ducts, chimney hopper, chimney bottom, and other associated area shall be carried out as per the instructions of the Plant Manager or his authorized representative. The removed soot shall be safely collected in sacks and disposed of at the designated non-decayable yard.

Cleaning of both passes of the Air Preheater (APH) of the boilers in PD-CPP shall be performed. Individual tubes shall be cleaned by removing accumulated soot either by pushing it out with a flexible hose or by using water, as instructed by the Plant Manager or his authorized representative.

Cleaning and removal of accumulated soot in the first and second flue gas paths and the chimney bottom of the start-up boiler in PD-CPP shall be carried out. Individual flue gas tubes shall be thoroughly cleaned as per the instructions of the Plant Manager or his authorized representative. The removed soot shall be collected in sacks and disposed of at the designated non-decayable yard.

Cleaning of the PD-CPP main chimney bottom and removal of accumulated soot shall also be carried out. The collected soot shall be safely packed in sacks and disposed of at the non-decayable yard.

Hydraulic testing of the boilers shall be carried out using a high-pressure pump. Internal hydraulic tests of the boiler shall be carried out using a high-pressure pump to identify leakages in the pressure parts. The internal hydraulic test may be conducted multiple times, if required, until all leakages are identified and rectified. After successful completion of the internal hydraulic test, the statutory hydraulic test shall be conducted in the presence of the Inspector from the Factories & Boilers Department.
