| 1 | Preparation of old treated horizontal concrete or bituminous roads, pavement surfaces ,painting lines, dashes, strips, circles and other markings of exceeding 10 cm width or girth with Grinding Machine or other mechanical methods and remove all scrap material outside Technical area and applying one coat of thinable/matt finished road marking paint white/orange/yellow/black or any other colour as approved by GE using mechanical pavement marking machine line lazer IV 3900 and 5900 of M/s Graco as approved by GE complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.Make: SN Infratech Pvt. Ltd./ STP / Apcotrak manufactured by Asian paints/ Road marking paint of Berger as approved by GE.Note :- (1) The site will be available based on the Flying Operation ,Hence Contractor shall quoted the rate accordingly and this condition will be apllicable for all type of work in this contract.(2)Thickness of paint shall be minimum 40micron ( Dry film thickness) for each coat.(3) An exclusive team of adequate number of labourers for painting activity shall be deployed by the contractor as per directions of Engr-in-Charge.(4) The execution of 30% quantity is to be completed in within 60 days after acceptance of contract; failing to meet this execution target by given due date shall incur irreversible penal recovery of Rs. 10000.(5) Next 50% quantity is to be completed within 120 days after acceptance of contract; failing to meet this execution target by given due date shall incur irreversible panel recovery of Rs. 15000.(6) Last 20% quantity is to be completed before completion date of contract given in the acceptance letter. |

| 3 | M&L for applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint to rigid / flexible portion of PTT/ Runway surfaces of any description Exc. 10cm in width or girth including preparation of old surface with steel wire brush/coir brush, brooming and removing dust, moulds, etc all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. |
| 4 | M&L for applying one coat of white wash to old decorative / concrete / bituminous surface including preparation of old surface with steel wire brush/coir brush, brooming and removing dust, moulds, etc all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. |
| 5 | Suppy, Spreading and levelling in layers and exc 25 cm of best quality coarse Sand For Filling and including removal of any pebbles/stone which is found in mixed with coarse sand Where directed , Complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-In-Charge. |
| 6 | Ploughing of SGA sand with tractor, cultivator and all required accessories as per the requirement of user.Note : Rate quoted by contractor will be included for fuel, tractor, cultivator, accessories, driver and labour etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. |
| 7 | M&L for cleaning/racking out cracks/joints on flexible portion of runway and making to maximum width upto 50mm and depth 50mm (For cracks above 3 to 5mm wide ) by cutting with cutter machine in flexible pavement and removing all existing loose and foreign materials to a distance exceeding 50 metres but not exceeding 100 metres, cleaning the surface with wire brushes and then cleaning the surfaces with compressed air using compressor, priming the surfaces with primer Dencote Primer 601 and filling with Epoxy tar compound levelled with trowel complete all as specified and directed by GE.Make : DENSON/NGI or any equivalent make approved by GE. |
| 8 | Repair to Pop out spalled joints, corner, pot holes in concrete slab by cutting, chiseling manually/ mechanical cutter, side perpendicular to a minimum depth of 2.5 to 3 cm and cleaned off all loose or broken material and remove outside Technical area cleaning the surface with mechanical blower to remove all dust/loose particle outside Technical area and repair concrete slab floor with concrete based adhesives resin epoxy to match the existing surface including fomwork where required, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.The resin and the materials to be used must be of approved manufecturer. Contractor shall take approval from GE by showing the packaged, anthentic material sample obtained from any of the three manufacturers only. After approval, contractor must procure complete quantity required for this item of work and get the same verified by GE. Only thereafter, he shall be permitted to commence execution. Decision of GE shall be final & binding in this aspect.Make : CIPY/SIKA/FOSROCNote : (1) Application shall be as per manufacturers instructions.(2) All the health and safety measures shall be followed by the contractor during use of epoxy resin.(3) An exclusive team of adequate number of labourers for repairs to joints/corners with adhesive resin epoxy shall be deployed by the contractor as per directions of Engr-in-Charge.(4) The execution of 30% quantity is to be completed in within 60 days after acceptance of contract; failing to meet this execution target in the given due date shall incur irreversible penal recovery of Rs. 15000.(5) For next 50% quantity is to be completed within 120 days after acceptance of contract; failing to meet this execution target in the given due date shall incur irreversible panel recovery of Rs. 20000.(6) Last 20% quantity is to be completed in before completion date of contract given in the acceptance letter.
