| 1 | Excavation soil in hilly area by mechanical means including cutting and trimming af side slopes and disposal of excarated earth with lift up to 1.5 m and a lead up to 20 m any as per drawing and technical specification clause 1603.1 all kind of soil with in all leads and lifts to the entire satisfaction as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. |
| 2 | Excavation in earth work for structure in all heights and depths in all kinds of soil including ordinay rock,hard rock (Requiring blasting), hard rock(blasting prohibited), marshy soil and their intermediate classification. If water is met due to stream flow, seepage, rain and other causes it shall be removed by suitable diversion, pumping and bailing out and the excavation shall be kept dry whenever so required by the contractor at his own cost , including dressing of slopes and beds setting out conforming to required lines, grades , side slopes as shown in the drawing and as per direction of Engineer-in-charge and transportation of soil to road way after back filling and then disposing of surplus excavated earth in acquired width of road or on approved dumping sites including its stacking, leveling and dressing in all leads and lifts through all modes of transportation including head load animal load or mechanical means or other incidentals to complete the work as per technical specifications clause 305.1. All useful materials,such as stone shingles, agg. and slates shall be sorted out and stacked along road sides to the maximum possible extent in all leads and lifts. Any loss to the public and private property during the course of execution of disposal of serviceable and un-serviceable materials shall be absolute responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all respects. |
