| 1 | Supply of centrifugal mono pump set of KSB/Calama/Kirloskar/Johnson/Sabar/BE/Cromption make conforming to BIS:8034-1978 (latest with uptodate ammendments) fitted with bronze impellers/suitable alloy directly coupled to squirrel cage/slippering electric induction motor of same make as that of pump conforming to BIS: 9283-1979 (latest with uptodate ammendments) and totally water proof for submersible duty, isolated from the pump by intermediate casing with double mechanical seal in oil chamber, grease packed lubricated bearings & provided with stainless steel thrust bearing plate to with stand vertical, loads with minimum wear & tear. It should also be fitted with a device to take up expansion of water with the heating of motor including water level guard, errection clamps, cable clips & depth gauge etc. The pump shall be suitable for operation on data on data given below :- |

The type size & make will be subject to approval of HPSEB authorities. In case of non acceptance by HPSEB authorities, it shall have to be replaced by the tenderer free of cost. | 18 | Providing and laying column assembly of GI/MSERW pipes of suitable size for suction delivery and common header considering site requirements and NPSH required/avaiable.The pipe sizes for suction and delivery shall as per the requirement of offered pump (to be given by the tendrers) and common header shall be equal to dia of rising main including tapers. flanges, bends, rubber gaskets, 3 mm thick nuts and bolts and special up to 5 metre away from the outer wall of pump house as per layout drawing approved by Engineer-in-charge. The pipes material shall conform to relevant BIS codes and capable of with standing field test pressure equal to 1.5 times the operating pressure. The complete arrangement shall comprise of:- a) Suction pipe 65mm dia of 2X10mtrs. length b) Delivery pipe 65mm dia of 2X5 mtrs length c) common header 100 mm dia of 5mtrs length.as per site conditions and as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge. |
