| 1 | Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means in foundation trenches or drains or laying of pipe/cables or for shafts, wells cesspits, man holes etc not exceeding 1.5 m in width or 10 sqm on plan and not exceeding 1.50m in depth, in any kind of soil, including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift upto 1.5 m, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50 m all as specified and directed. |

Notes :-1) Tyton joints required are deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted.2) The rate quoted is deemed to be inclusive of the cost of thrust block wherever required. |
| 4 | S&F in replacement for CI / DI fittings and specials such as Bends (any type, radius and angle), Tapers any type (straight, bend, increasing, decreasing or double socket etc.), Tee pieces, single branch, \\"Y\\" junction, double branch, cross (all sockets or socket and spigot), Collars, Caps, Plugs, Connecting pieces one end flanged and other end socketed or spigot ends or all socketed / spigot ends etc, suitable for 200 mm to 300 mm bore pipe complete all as specified and as directed. |
| 5 | Supply and fix in replacement sluice valve of size 250 mm bore, cast iron, long body, both ends flanged as per IS-14846 and drilled with stainless steel spindle iron wheel head and as per pressure rating PN 1.6, Class I, ISI Marked alongwith nuts, bolts, washers , gaskets etc. incl taking out old unserviceable sluice valve from valve chamber / trenches complete all as specified and as directed. |
| 6 | M&L for construction of valve pit/chamber of Internal dimensions 900 mm x 900 mm x 900 mm, using PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) for foundation, 23 cm thick, fly ash brick wall built in cement mortar (1:4) ,15 mm thick rendering all around the brick work in cement mortar (1:4), 75 mm thick PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregates in coping including necessary form work, 3 coats of white wash on rendered surfaces and on coping, 5 mm thick mild steel top sheet cover with frame made out of 40x40x6 mm angle iron, locking arrangement, including painting of steel surface with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer including demolition of existing valve chamber and clearing the debris complete all as specified and as directed. |
| 7 | M&L for cutting the existing bituminous road / PCC hard standing upto 75cm in depth, 60cm in width, getting out excavated materials and making good the damaged portion after laying of pipes by returning filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick and PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate upto 30cm depth from top of the road all as specified and as directed. |
| 8 | M&L for mechanical joint having 2 Nos CI / DI Sockets, 1 No CI / DI Collar and 2 Nos styrene butadiene rubber gaskets, etc for 250 mm bore pipe alongwith nuts, bolts, washers , gaskets etc. including cutting CI / DI pipe and reducing to required length for insertion in position of mechanical joint complete connected with line all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. |
| 9 | Notes for Item No 1 to 8:-1) The Quantity considered in the schedule is tentative. The contractor shall be required to measure the actual quantity required as per site requirement and submit the layout diagram for approval of Engr-in-Charge before commencement of work.2) The contractor shall execute the work without disturbing the existing pipe line. Old U/S pipe line shall be removed by the contractor after successful execution of the work.3) Many sewage lines/ chambers and LT/HT/ communication cables are passing through the area, hence due care shall be taken by the contractor during excavation and laying of pipe. Exacavation shall be carried out by manual means in such locations as per directions of Eng in charge. Please note that any damage caused to existing infrastructure shall be made good by the contractor at his own cost and necesaary fiitings and cable joints shall be provided immediately to ensure uninterrupted supply. The damage should be rectified immediately within 06 hrs and any further delay may attract a penalty of Rs 2000.00 per day.4) Contractor shall ensure proper road barricading and safety measures while executing the road cutting work.
