| 1 | Earthwork in excavation by mechanical/ manual means in all type of strata comprising any of materials such as soil, silt, sand, clay, gravels, moorum of all varieties, shingles, pebbles, all types of conglomerate laterite rock, soft rock, ordinary rock, disintegrated rock, or weathered rock, fissured / shattered, decomposed rock and all such other materials either in full or in parts as the case may be by adopting any approved method or methods as may be convenient or permitted including chiseling, wedging etc. but blasting prohibited in all condition such as dry, moist, saturated, submerged, foul conditions, etc. including pumping or bailing out water / dewatering including setting out construction of shoring , strutting and bracing , removal of stump and other deleterious matter, dressing of sides and bottom, providing barricading , danger lightning , guarding etc. backfilling the excavated earth to the extent required and disposing of surplus excavated soil/rock at specified areas with all leads and lifts etc. as per specification and drawing and as directed by the Engineer -in-charge etc. complete. |
| 2 | Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form-work for a)Foundations, footings, bases for columns and mass concrete. |
| 3 | b)Vertical surface such as retaining walls, return walls, walls (any thk) including attached pilasters buttresses, plinth and string course fillets, etc. |
| 4 | Providing & laying cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 cement: 2 coarse sand: 4 graded granitic or basaltic stone aggrt. 20 mm. nominal size) excluding cost of centering, shuttering and finishing in: a)All works upto plinth level. |
| 5 | b)In retaining walls , return walls(any thk) including attached pilasters, columns, piers, abutments, pillars, posts, struts, buttresses, string or lacing courses, parapets, coping bed blocks, anchor blocks, plain window sills, fillets etc, upto floor five level. |
| 6 | Providing & fixing weep holes with rigid PVC make laid in position with a required slope & level white laying pipes of approved the concrete of retaining wall , wing wall & earth retaining structure complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. a)110 mm |
| 7 | 12mm cement plaster 1:4(1 cement : 4 fine sand) |
| 8 | Refilling the pipeline/foundation trenches plinth sides, foundation etc. With available excavated earth in layers not exceeding 20cm depth consolidating each layer ramming and watering lead upto 50 m and all lifts and disposal of surplus earth as directed by Engineer in Charge.
