| 1 | Miscellaneous Works in Thermal-2 |
| 2 | The work shall be carried out on a manday basis and includes collection, segregation, and shifting of metallic and non-metallic waste materials from the Thermal-2 building premises. The activities cover handling of rusted metallic items, structural scrap, insulation materials, oil sludge/oil slick, mud, debris, and other miscellaneous scrap lying at various locations such as the ground floor near Boiler area, pipe rack area, TG floor area, Cooling Tower area, and other surrounding premises. The work also includes bringing down waste materials from different floors of Boiler Units 1, 2, and 3 to ground level and consolidating them at a designated location. All manpower, tools, tackles, and equipment shall be provided by the contractor. Payment shall be made based on actual mandays engaged and certified by the Engineer-in-Charge. |
| 3 | The work shall be executed on a manday basis and includes loading and unloading of segregated metallic and non-metallic scrap/waste materials within the FACT UD / Petro Plant premises as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. All required manpower, tools, tackles, and handling equipment including concrete lump breakers shall be arranged by the contractor. Payment shall be made based on actual mandays engaged and certified by the Engineer-in-Charge. |
| 4 | Transportation of scrap and waste materials loaded under Sl. No. 2 from CPP - PD premises to the designated scrap yard, waste dumping area, or any other location within the FACT UD / Petro Plant premises, as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. The contractor shall provide a suitable truck having carrying capacity up to 2 tonnes for the purpose.The rate per trip shall be inclusive of all charges such as vehicle hire, driver wages, fuel, and any other incidental expenses.Copies of the relevant scrap dispatch advice and weighbridge report shall be submitted by the contractor for each lot of material transported. The quantity indicated is tentative and payment shall be made based on actual number of trips certified by the Engineer-in-Charge. |
| 5 | The work shall be performed on a manday basis and includes moving and rearranging used materials and equipment parts such as valves, pumps, flanges, motors, radiators, drums, welding sets, structural items, roof sheets, and other related materials stacked at various locations including CPP building North and South entrance areas, Boiler Feed Pump area, TG Floor area, and other specified locations, as instructed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Required cleaning materials, rigging materials, tools, tackles, and manpower shall be arranged by the contractor. The EOT crane at the TG Floor may be used free of cost, subject to availability. Loading and unloading for shifting within the Petro Plant premises shall be in the contractor’s scope. Payment shall be made based on actual mandays engaged and certified by the Engineer-in-Charge. |
| 6 | The work shall be carried out on a manday basis and includes removal of vegetation from the outer side walls and top platforms of Cooling Tower cells, removal of vegetation from the side walls and floor of the Cooling Tower pond, and removal of accumulated mud, slurry, and other unwanted materials within the CPP Cooling Tower area. All manpower, tools, tackles, and equipment required for execution shall be arranged by the contractor. Cleaning of all four Cooling Tower cells shall be treated as a single activity. |
| 7 | The work shall be executed on a manday basis and includes thorough cleaning of the Furnace Oil (FO) Pump House area. Furnace oil spillage on floors, including areas beneath oil heaters, around pumps, condensate drains, and adjoining areas, shall be removed by spreading sawdust and collecting the oil-soaked sawdust for proper disposal as instructed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Sawdust, cotton waste, manpower, tools, and all other materials required for complete execution of the work shall be arranged by the contractor.
