| 5 | Earth Filling: Earth filling with availble or imported earth with by ramming and watering in complete finish level as required.Tenderer to note the following:a) Initial & final level survey shall be under taken jointly by the Contractor & IOC Site Engineer.b) Tenderers to note that the scope of works inlcude provision of permanent & temporary bench marks as per the instructions of the Site Incharge.c) Tenderers to note that approval from IOC shall be obtained for the imported earth & quarry used for ass filling & necessary test reports from a Govt Engg Colleges / Universities / NABL Accredited labs (With the approval of IOC)have to be submiited for the parameters specified by IOC prior to undertaking filling in the site.d) Item rate is inclusive of applicable Royalty for the importe dearth / Specific approval to be obtained from concerned Statutory Authorities. Necessary Royalty receipts / NOC to be submitted by the Contractor.e) Net quantity of compacted earth as per initial and final levels shall be paid & no compensation what so ever on account of subsidence of soil etc shall be permitted.f) No Back-filling will be paid; the rate is included in the excavation.Filling available excavated earth (excluding rock) in trenches, plinth, sides of foundations etc. in layers not exceeding 15 cm in depth, consolidation each deposited layer by ramming and watering, within premises irrespective of lift & lead. Item includes compaction using Vibratory Roller of 8 to 10 ton capacity for earth work in under optimum moisture conditions to give at least 95% of the maximum dry density (Proctor Density). The imported earth should have Liquid Limit & Plasticity Index below 20 and 6 respectively. |

| 8 | Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to any level: Providing and laying in position,Ready Mixed or machine batched, machine mixed as per the approved design mix of specific grade of cement concrete for plain / reinforced cement concrete work, manufactured in fully automatic batching plant and transported to site of work in transit mixer for all leads, having continuous agitated mixer, using cement content as per approved design mix, including pumping of concrete to site of laying excluding the cost of centering, shuttering and reinforcement steel, including admixtures (if any) in recommended proportions as per IS 9103 to accelerate / retard setting of concrete, improve work ability without impairing strength and durability as per direction of Site Engineer. (Minimum Cement content shall be as specified for individual grade of Concrete. Use of Less cement than specified for the grade will not be permitted. However in case of excess requirement of cement with respect to minimum cement content; as per the approved design mix; the same shall be in the scope of bidder & no extra payment shall be made on this account. Cement used should be of Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC) Grade - 53 (Minimum). | 11 | a) Wastage in cutting will not be paid for. Only steel actually fixed in position will be paid by the linear measurement Chairs, Spacers & dowels shall not be paid separately. Only authorized hooks and laps approved in bar bending schedule shall be paid. Lapping of bars will be allowed only where the required bar length exceeds the standard lengths available. All other laps provided unless otherwise specified in the drawings shall not be measured and paid for. Weight of binding wire shall not be measured for payment. The prices are to include for the supply of all Reinforcement & Embedment at site by the Contractorb) Reinforcement are to be tack welded in addition to binding by 18 SWG annealed wire wherever necessary to impart fixity. Bars of 28 mm dia. & above shall also be provided with stitch weld in additions to binding with annealed iron wire and nothing extra will be paid for stitch welding. Stitch welding shall be done as per IS specifications. Knee bracing and lapping of purlin shall not be measured separately and nothing extra shall be paid on this account.b) Prior approval of Engineer-in-charge shall have to be obtained for changing the sections due to non-availability of certain sections and using built up section/ compound sections and nothing extra shall be paid for on this account.c) Packing cut pieces of plates, templates etc. provided in the base plate of column for leveling etc. shall not be measured and paid separately.d) All Structure outside as well as inside surfaces of box sections shall be painted as per the specification.Manufacturing, fabricating, supplying, transporting to site, erecting, hoisting and fixing in position structural steel frames, portals, cantilevers, canopies, all bracings, purlins, girts, sag rods, wind ties etc. including any crane runway beams, monorails, walkways, hand railing and access ladders as shown in the drawings, as per specification, including all materials wastage, fasteners, connections etc. complete, including painting as per the given Specification for the steel structure as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.Supply, fabrication and erection of structural steel / Steel work in built up : Supplying, fabricating and erecting structural steel members /Steel work in built up trusses such as column, column bracing, rafter, roof bracing, struts, roof purlin, side grits, sag angles, rod etc. including all erection materials to complete the all composite works as per attached drawings including surface preparation by sand blasting conforming to swedish standard SA 2 1/2 for painting,supply and application of 1st coat of inorganic zinc silicate 75 microns DFT, 2nd coat of intermidiate of epoxy high build micaceous iron oxide (MIO) 120 microns DFT, 3rd coat finishing paint of acrylic polyurethane 40 microns DFT, and 4th coat finishing paint of acrylic polyurethane 40 microns DFT (total DFT = 275 microns minimum) of approved colour finishing coat shall be applied one before erection and one coat after erection, including loading, transportation, unloading delivery at erction siteof all fabricated structures, storage and handling at site, site assembly and finally erection of structures at appropriate location, alignment and welding of all structures true to line level, plumb and dimension. the work shall be completed as per drawings, technical specifications and direction of E.I.C, Note: the cost of MS bolts and nuts (permanent and service), washers,electrodes, putty, gases, shims, packs, cost of straightening the raw materials. Built up section at any shape cutting of flats from plates and providing splices, paints, tools, plants testing of materials etc. and all others related to work is included in this items. All jobs shall be done as per direction of E.I.C. Drawings provided along with the tender documents are to be used only as reference. The successful bidder shall submit complete structural & construction drawings to get it reviewed/approved by owner/ consultant in detail before taking up any fabrication / manufacturing activity. |
| 18 | ROOFING AND WALL SHEETINGS:Supply and erection of perforated zincalume high tensile colour coated steel sheet on roof and sides: preparation of sheeting drawings, bill of materials, getting approval from consultant/client, supply, transportation and delivery at site, unloading at site, cutting and bending of sheets to required shapes and sizes and erecting them on roof and sides, including supply and fixing of colour coated 0.5 mm (minimum) Base Metal Thickness (BMT) and 0.58 mm (min) TCT/TPT zincalume Lysaght KLIP-LOK concealed fix or approved equivalent profile of ~700 mm effective cover width, with four major deep corrugation, ~43mm deep rib spaced @ ~233 mm c/c along with micro-stiffeners perpendicular to the ribs for strength. The male and female rib shall have anti capillary groove to avoid any seepage of water through lateral overlap compatible flashing, trims, ridge panel, curved panel, canopy soffit closure, closers fittings and fixture etc., The steel sheet shall have minimum yield strength of 550 MPa, metallic coated with Aluminium-Zinc alloy (i.e. Zincalume), AZ150 (min 150 GSM coating total on both sides), conforms to AS 1397 / ASTM A 792M / IS15961, prepainted with Super Durable Polyester Colorbond XRW or approved equivalent with higher SRI value (Thermatech or approved equivalent technology) and uses only inorganic pigments in paint system conforms to AS/NZS 2728 type 4 / IS 15965 class 3 of Tata Bluesciope Steel make or approved equivalent. The \\"Concealed Fix\\" sheets shall be fixed to every purlin by means of KL70 clips or approved equivalent having spurs which will securely hold the sheets in position and lock-in the side lapand both centre ribs. The Clip KL-70 or approved equivalent shall be fastened with nominal 40µm Zinc Coated or nominal 25µm Zinc-Tin alloy coated, Hex head self drilling screw as per AS 3566-2002 Class 3 fasteners of approved make (Buildex/Roofex or equivalent) with EPDM washer as per the requirement considering the profile shape & the designed load. The profile sheet shall be of the same parent company as that of the coil. The faster size shall be calculated as per the design or manufacturer's recommendations. Roof sheet shall be laid in color as approved by client. All works shall be completed in respect as per drawing, technical specification, scope and description of works and as per direction of Enginner in charge (only net laid area to be measure for payments).i) Profiled Sheet for cladding, Plain Sheet for Ridges, Flashings/ Aprons/trims, Gutter etc. |
