| 3 | Cleaning Vegetation: Cleaning bushes including uprooting of rank vegetation, green bush wood, trees and saplings of girth upto 30cms (measured at a height of 1m above ground), stacking the serviceable materials and disposal of unserviceable materials at an unobjectionable place outside the premises including rubbish etc. upto any lead and all lift as per specification and direction of the Engineer-in-charge. (Payment will be made for actual site clearance area only). |
| 4 | Tree Cutting :-Tree cutting (only of girth more than 30 cm above 1m above ground) along with removal of roots and stumps and handing over the same to Owner / Owner's Representative including paying royalties, disposal, taking approval from competent authorities etc. all complete, as per technical specifications and direction of Engineer-in-charge.Note:- 1.Rate includes cost of all labour, tools, tackles, hire charges, royalties, levies,loading/unloading, transportation, electric power, illumination and cost of handingover to owner/or his representative etc. complete in all respects as per scope of work and direction of Engineer-in-charge. |

| 6 | EXCAVATION-ALL KINDS OF SOIL 0 TO 1.5 M: Earthwork in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic Excavator)/manual means for Footings, Plinth beams, pedestals, culverts, pits, trenches, roads or any structures etc. as directed, in all kinds of soils including soft rock and dis-integrated rock but excluding hard Rock for depth upto 1.5m from existing ground level in both dry and wet conditions including pumping and bailing out surface and subsoil water, slush removal,shoring & strutting if required including staking out of work as per specifications; taking spot levels on edges & centreline as per specifications, segregating the excavated earth in to serviceable and unserviceable earth; stacking the serviceable earth separately within plant premises for enabling reuse for backfilling or any other purpose as per instructions of GAIL GAS; carting away and disposing the unserviceable earth within Plant boundaries all compete as per instructions of GAIL GAS. The Measurement for payment shall be for the theoretical volume only and it shall be the volume of the block of the excavation having maximum bottom dimension of the levelling course/PCC as per drawing and to actual depth. |
