Mild steel flat iron 50mmx3mm bracing shall be provided joining the tee-irons diagonally ad directed by Engineer-in-charge. At each end the angle iron 40mmx40mmx6mm shall be provided joining the top horizontal lengths or angle iron 40mmx40mmx6mm of 2440mm. The balance to length of 2360mm shall be equally divided into four spaces and three tee-iron of 50mmx50mmx6mm shall be provided joining the two top horizontal angle irons of 2440mm long. The flange of tee-iron shall flush with angle iron and welded as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Four cross bracing shall be provided in the four top spaces with 50mmx3mm flat iron as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Bracings shall join the top angle iron near inverted tee-iron at 45mm from either edge of the tee-iron flange. Two extra flat iron struts of 50mmx3mm flat iron shall be provided in front and at the back, made to shape, as shown on drawing connecting to end of angle iron with bottom angle iron welded at 50mm from each bottom end and other end shall join the junction of top angle iron and vertical tee-iron as shown on drawong and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. All steel surfaces exposed to view when placed in position shall be painted with two coats of enamel paint over a coat of primer after preparation of surfaces as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Painting shall be done with spray machine. All joints shall be welded as per standard workmanship and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. |
