| 180 | M&L for cleaning of all blockages of Nahani traps/floor traps/bottle traps, blockages of WC's, Rain water pipes, Rain water spouts at roof level, 100 mm dia CI pipes upto 1st manhole/GT in shafts, vertical CI soil/waste pipe stacks, CI Tee/door bends etc & cleaning of drain pipes 150 mm to 300 mm internal dia by rodding and manholes upto 3.0 metre in depth and removal of sludge/silt/liquid mud sand (in foul conditions) etc, out of MOD premises (at the location notified by the local Municipal Corporation/Cantt board) complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge to maintain internal & external sewage system in functional state at all the time. The contractor shall engage required skilled manpower and provide all necessary tools and plants (manual/pressure cleaning pump and flexible rods and other necessary equipment (as per rules of public health), etc to ensure resolution of complaint in time frame as desired by Engineer-in-Charge. Any type of complaint related to cleaning of sewage line and other connected items need to be catered for by the contractor.Note :- 1. Contractor may have to deploy more manpower in the particular area and deploy adequate sewage cleaning machinery/ equipment to clean the line and open blockages within 06 hours of complaint received (on same day). 2. In case contractor fails to get the complaint rectified within 06 hours of complaint received, he shall be penalised for the same at a flat rate of Rs 200/- per complaint, in addn to cost incurred by the department for rectification of complaints from third party. 3. Proper records (date wise) of complaints received & rectified by the contractor shall be maintained and shall be produced for verification at the time of payment of each RAR/ Bill.Note :- Day to day Complaint received from user's of Palam Bagh should be resolved within 06 hours of complaint received. 4. The contractor must keep in mind the above said provisions while quoting his rates. |
| 181 | M&L for uprooting of plants (girth n.exc 15 cm of trunk to any height of plants) grown along the pipes or walls, chajjas, parapets and roof of bldgs and making good the surfaces as per existing surfaces and pouring acid not less than 100 ml for each plant in the root to avoid further growth as directed. Any other grass plants etc below 45 cm height shall be deemed to be removed from the premises complete all as specified and directed.Note: (a) Srl Item No 02.00, 05.00, 07.00, 08.00, 12.00 to 18.00, 30.00 to 33.00, 43.00, 44.00, 49.00 to 58.00, 65.00, 68.00 to 71.00, 88.00 to 90.00, 93.00 to 95.00, 98.00, 99.00, 111.00, 115.00, 122.00 to 127.00, 129.00, 136.00, 138.00, 140.00, 142.00 to 144.00 & 148.00 to 168.00 of BOQ are major items for the subject tender and material in respect of these items shall be procured within one month after placing of work order and produced before Engg in Charge alongwith original purchase vouchers as per direction of Garrison Engineer and shall obtain a certificate from Engg in charge that material in respect of above mentioned items have been submitted in the office of Engg in charge in their safe custody.(b) Materials in respect of Freakishly low declared items if any at the time of acceptance of contract shall be procured within one month after placing of work order and submit the same in the office of Engg in charge alongwith original purchase vouchers in their safe custody and shall obtain a certificate from Engg in charge.
