Excavation in hilly area in all heights and depths in all kinds of soil by mechanical soil i/c saturated soil comprising of ordinary soil ,soft rocks,hard rocks, chiseling , wedging out of rock (where blasting is prohibited) and other intermediate classification of soil setting out true to the required line,grade,width, cutting and trimming of side slopes and level as shown on the drawings and as desired by the Engineer-in-charge at site according to the MORD Technical Specification Clause 1603.1,1603.2 sorting out useful material and stacking the same in all leads and lift in acquired width of the road and transportation of useful material for filling of roadway ,camber, embankment for improvement and disposal of all un-useful materials from the width of the road or on approved dumping sites through all mode of transportation i/c head load or animal transport or by mechanical means along with leveling ,fine dressing and carriage of machinery , material, tools ,and safety means and other incidentals necessary to complete the work by mechanical means or labour ,if required. All useful materials such as stone, shingle, aggregates, sand shall be sorted out and stacked along the road side which shall be not less than 1/3(one-third) for blasting work hard rock, 1/6(one-sixth) for soft blasting work and 1/10 (one-tenth) for jumper work in all cases failing which recovery shall be done at the prevailing market rates. Any loss to the public property shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor which shall be duly compensated by him as per the directions of the Engineer-in Charge i/c carriage of material within all leads and lifts The rates includes octroi , roylity, Malkana,Toll-tax,sale tax or any other tax imposed by the Government. A recovery of useful stones for 656 cum @ Rs300 per cum shall be done on pro-rata basis in each running bill for this item. Please Enable Macros to View BoQ information
