All concrete shall be done by using computrized automatic concrete batching plant of min capacity 15-20cum/hr which shall be installed by contractor baching and mixing at site, calibrated and tested or movable SLM ( Self Loading Machine) with prior approval of GE. The the batching plant shall confirm to IS 4925 have the facilities of data print out, presenting the quality to be weighng automatic cut off when the same is achieved.2.General sample from fresh concrete shall be taken as per IS-1199 and cubes shall be made curved and tested at 28days in accordance with IS-516.3.IN order to get a relatively quicker idea of the quality of concrete optional tests on beam for modules of rupture at 72(+2h) or at 7 days, or compressive strength test at 7 days may be carried out in addition to 28 days compressive strength test. For this purpose should be arrived at based on actual testing. In all cases, the 28 days compressive strength specified in table 2 shall alone be the criteria for acceptance or rejection of the concrete. |
