| 5 | Providing and laying of 25-40 mm thick premix Road Repair Compound (Readymade) that is a mixture of unheated mineral aggregate and emulsified bitumen. The aggregates passing through the sieve size 10 mm = 95-100% , 4.75 mm = 60-70 %, 2.36 mm = 12-15 %, 0.075 mm = 2-3 %. The volatile matter content 0.95% , bitumen content 6 %, the compound shall attain 35% strength within 30 mins and 70 % strength within 24 hours. The compound shall have a minimum bonding strength of 2.5 kg/sqcm, including cleaning and preparing the existing road surface to remove all dirt, dust, mud etc and finally booming the surface as per required specification on (including cost & carriage of all materials) including rolling with PRR of 8-10 tonne capacity incl. a coat of tack coat or a coat of bituminous emulsion all complete. |
