Operation of cooling water pumps (3 Nos.) and vacuum pumps (2 Nos.) in Pump House during monsoon season by opening / closing the inlet & outlet valves, starting / stopping the pumps, cleaning of choked strainer by opening the top lid nut bolts with suitable size of spanners. Extracting out the chocked strainer bucket, taking it at the plate form (made for the purpose) so as to remove the trash, cleaning the strainer bucket with wire brush, flushing with water jet and then refitting the strainer bucket & tightening the top lid as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge round the clock in Giri Power House including cleaning of Pump House floor i.e. manual carriage of debris, trash, muck outside the periphery of Power House and ensure the complete cleaning of floors regularly. All necessary T&P for opening & closing and cleaning of strainer, insurance charges of deployed persons to be provided by contractor any other work assigned by the Engineer-in-Charge during monsoon season at Pump house in three number shifts per day of eight hours each with four persons i.e 4 Un-skilled labour in each shift round the clock as per the direction and entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge.
