| 1 | Disconnecting all the electrical connections from H.T and L.T side of unserviceable transformer of capacity upto and including 300 KVA i.e. Jumpers/ Cable from the cable end box or bushings & earthing terminal of the transformers by removing the nuts bolts including taking down carefully, loading, unloading of transformer & transportation by vehicle from substation to the repairing workshop including reinstallation, commissioining and testing complete after necessary repair/ servicing etc all as specified and directed.NOTE : Loading/ unloading of transformer shall be the responsibility of the contractor at their own arrangement and nothing extra shall be admissible on this account. |
| 2 | Opening the transformer cover alongwith connected accessories, the conservator by removing the nuts, bolts then after removing the internal HT & LT connections by taking them out by removing studs, bushings, taking out the core-winding assembly out of the tank, removing out burnt HV and LV windings from the core assembly, cleaning of core assembly with CTC including necessary repairs for the unserviceable transformers having ratio 11/ 0.433 KV, draining & decanting of burnt transformer oil and cleaning of sludge deposited in the tank and cleaning by using CTC/ thinner for the transformers. Rewinding of HV and LV coils with suitable size super enamelled copper wire/ strip (as existing) having suitable class insulation material. Reconditioning of LT coil of aluminium/ copper wound transformer by turning the old paper insulations, straightening the entire LT Strip providing new paper insulations of superior quality and making coil of suitable design as original. Heating of core winding assembly in hot chamber for 48 hours and removing all the moisture present in it, removal of leakage of tank (if any) by welding, refilling transformer oil to tank, after putting the core-winding assembly into the tank, reassembling, making the internal HT & LT connections by fixing the studs, bushing, fitting the top cover by replacing cork sheet gasket along with conservator, testing the transformer in the workshop duly filled with oil, complete all as specified and directed for various capacities upto and including 400 KVA.NOTES :- (i) Copper wire to be measured as separate item.(ii) Repair of the transformer will be carried out at authorised workshop. AGE (I)/ AGE E/M shall visit workshop before repair of transformer and certificate of authorised workshop shall be submitted by contractor.(iii) Unserviceable items required for repairs shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items of this schedule. Transformer oil with die electric strength not less than 60 KV either new or filtered and dehyderated by machine shall be filled and shall be measured and paid separately under respective item. |
| 3 | Supply only super enamelled insulated copper wire any size and shape including all insulating binding, varnishing and baking if required, complete all as specified and directed. |
| 4 | Supply only copper winding strip with insulation of any size for LT coils of transformers including providing insulation all as required, complete all as specified and directed. |
| 5 | S&F in replacement for LT porcelain bushings 415 V of suitable size for outdoor/ indoor type with rubbersied cork sheet washers complete, of transformer of the capacity upto 400 KVA, complete all as specified and directed. |
| 6 | S&F in replacement for porcelain bushing for 11KV HT side outdoor transformer with rubberised cork sheet washers all as required at site suitable for transformer of capacity upto 400 KVA, complete all as specified and directed. |
| 7 | S&F in replacement for bush rod (for LT 415 V side) made out of copper as per existing size and type complete with one check nut, two nuts, washers and rubber seal, all as per sample for outdoor/ indoor type transformer of the capacity upto 400 KVA, complete all as specified and directed. |
| 8 | S&F in replacement for bush rod (for HT 11 KV side) made out of copper as per existing size and type complete with one check nut, two nuts, washers and rubber seal, all as per sample for outdoor/ indoor type transformer of the capacity upto 400 KVA, complete all as specified and directed. |
| 9 | S&F in replacement for breather assembly for transformer of capacity upto 400 KVA all as per existing all as directed at site, complete all as specified and directed. |

| 12 | S&F in replacement for Diaphragm of breather assembly for transformer of capacity upto 400 KVA complete all as per existing specification and size required at site complete all as specified and directed. |
| 13 | Dehydration including filteration of transformer oil using dehydration and filteration plant including testing of sample before and after dehydration and filteration complete all as specified and directed. (The dielectric strength to be achieved 60 KV at 2.5mm gap after completion of dehydration and filteration).NOTES :-(i) Dehydration of transformer oil in the transformer carried out on the site by dehydration machine.(ii) All the labour work like disconnect of cable and reassemble and drum etc, carried out by contractor by own arrangement.(iii) Shutdown of HT/ LT line shall be taken by contractor in writing from MES representative. |
| 14 | Supply and top up/ filling of new transformer oil in different transformers with high viscosity, high resistance to oxidation & thermal stability, as per IS-335(1993), dielectric strength (BDV) 60 KV with 2.5mm gap, complete all as specified and directed. |
| 15 | Preparation of old painted surfaces and cooling coils/ fins of transformers of the capacity upto 400 KVA by removing oil marks using chemical or hot blow lamp. Spary painting to prepared surfaces using synthetic enamel paint of superior quality of colour as approved by AGE(I)/ AGE (E/M) as per standard engineering practice with two coats, writing SM No. MES No, Make and capacity with white paint having height of each letter not less than 2.5cm and width not less than 1cm, complete all as specified and directed. NOTE :-(i) Shutdown of HT/ LT line shall be taken by contractor in writing from MES representative. |
| 16 | Supply and filling up in replacement for silica gel superior quality to trnasformer breather assembly, complete all as specified and directed. |
| 17 | Excavation in trenches in any type of soil not exceeding 1.5mtr wide and not exceeding 1.5 mtr deep, for foundation, etc for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, laying of cables/ foundation of poles etc not exceeding 10 sqm on plan and not exceeding 1.5m in depth and getting out in any type of soil, complete all as specified and directed. |
| 18 | Excavation in trenches in any type of soil not exceeding 1.5mtr wide and exceeding 1.5 mtr but not exceeding 3.00mtr in depth and getting out for laying of cables/ foundation of poles, complete all as specified and directed. |
| 19 | Removing surplus excavated material (soil) to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.50 mtr above the starting point, complete all as specified and directed. |

NOTE :- Excavation, PCC for foundation and earth work shall be measured and paid separately under respective items of this BOQ. |

| 39 | Taking out operating handle with clamps from the GO switch to carry out the repairs.
