| 1 | M&L preparation of existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked, mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags or mechanical air compressor to remove all loose dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming/ tack coat with bituminous primer @ 5 KG/ 10 Sqm of road surface using paving bitumen of Grade VG-10 and providing bituminous premix asphaltic semi dense concrete (SDAC) 30mm thick (consolidated thickness) with 5.5% binder content of paving bitumen of Grade VG-30 by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with using 10 to 12 tonne power roller and laying with mechanical paver, complete all as specified and directed.Notes :- (a) Bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete shall be prepared in central computerised hot mix plant. (b) Design mix shall be got done by the contractor at his own expenses from NABL laboratory as decided by GE. (c) Contractor shall quote his rates by considereing binder contents @ 5.5% of total mix by weight, however in case of any variation in weight of binder contents on lower side as per actual mix design, the same shall be ajusted @ Rs. 60.00 Per Kg of bitumen. |
| 2 | M&L repair to potholes, area not exceeding 1.0 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc. cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth, making good by filling in screened and graded road metal, watering and well ramming and applying a tack coat with bituminous primer @ 5 Kg per 10 Sqm of paving bitumen of Grade VG-10, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 Kg per 10 Sqm, binded with 0.09 Cum of stone chippings 6.3mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings), compacted to required camber and gradient with using 10 to 12 tonne power roller depth of potholes exceeding 30mm, complete all as specified and as directed. |
| 3 | Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area exceeding 400 Sqm and thickness or depth not exceeding 50mm and removing thereof as accounted under credit, complete all as specified and as directed. |
| 4 | M&L premixed bituminuous macadam using 4% binder content of paving bitumen of Grade VG-30 by weight of total mix (consolidated thickness 50mm or less), laying with mechanical paver and rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with using 10 to 12 tonne power roller, complete all as specified and directed. Notes :-(a) Premixed Bituminuous Macadam shall be laid using self propelled hydrostatic paver finisher and preparation of mix shall be using hot mix plant and transporting the mix in tipper.(b) The exact bitumen content required shall be determined follwing the Mix Design procedure contained in the Asphalt Institute Manual MS-2 (Sixth Edition) as referred in case 3.5.3 of IRC 111:2009. The adjustment in rate due to variation in quantity of bitumen if any shall be priced at the rate of Rs. 60.00 Per KG of bitumen. |
| 5 | M&L for applying evenly a priming/ tack coat with bituminous primer @ 5 KG/ 10 Sqm of paving bitumen of Grade VG-10, complete all as specified and directed. |
| 6 | M&L for preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows, etc. and the line not exceeding 10cm in width with applied hot thermoplastic road marking paint of approved colour (white or golden yellow), confirming to BS-3262-1989 with special applicator machine and including traffic diverson arrangement, complete all as specified and directed. |
| 7 | S&F in repairs metal tubular delineators made out of ABS round body fitted with 02 Nos 65mm dia highly reflective reflectors made out of PMMA and mounted on 45/50mm dia mild steel pipe of 600mm height duly powder coated and thermoplastic elastometer 3 bands of green, red and yellow reflector radium tape of 25mm wide strips with anti theft steel net for reflector protection including embedding in PCC 1:2:4 (150x150x300mm) type B1 complete all as specified and directed. |
| 8 | S&F in repairs cat eye solar reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100mm x 100mm x 20mm with PAMA striplens reflector of model No. DA 972, fixed with and including MS stud of suitable size as per manufacturer's instructions, complete all as specified and directed. |
| 9 | S&F in repairs Solar Cat Eye aluminum alloy shall (100% water proofing design according to 65) of size 125mm x 125mm x 25mm (shank 65mm) of high efficiency Mono rystafie solar panel 2.4 V / 0.3 watt one NI-ed rechargeable battery (1.2V/1600MA) consisting of super bright LED with 10,000 to 18,000 mcd, complete all as manufacturer's instructions complete all as specified and directed. |
| 10 | S&F in repairs convex mirror of 900 mm dia pole mounted on MS heavy grade pipe of 50mm dia duly powder coated with anti rust, anti- teft and 1.2 mtr high from GL with 300 mm (minimum) embedded in and including PCC M-10 using 40mm graded stone aggregate and two coats of paints by hot pressing over a coat of red oxied around the pipe in full perimeter all as per MOST and IRC specification complete all as specified and directed. |
