COMPREHENSIVE OPERATION & MAINTENANCE OF 50 KLD Effluent Treament Plants and other allied works/structure etc. created under the contract for a period of 1 year of compacted ETP (based on MBBR technology) including all cost of labour, consumables, chemicals, repair/replacement of all complete E& M parts, testing of outlet parameters of treated water etc. as required. The amount to be quoted in this BOQ payment to be released on quarterly on pro rata based. No payment shall be made on account of any escalation of price. Duties during O & M plant shall be run 24/7. Adequate operators to be provided for proper plant operation. Treated water quality target should monitored by random sampling. The scope of item includes monthly comprehensive maintenance for the ETP including all spares supply and consumables to be use for running of ETP. Electricity supply for the plant will be provided by DDA. The security deposit @ 2.5% deducted shall released after completion of maintenance period of 1 year to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge. Non-compliance of O & M requirements shall make the agency liable for recovery from the security deposit and or BG with DDA. (a) 1st Year Terms and Conditions :-(1) The Maintenance of ETP shall be carried out by the agency for 1 years from the date of commence of work. The agency shall quote the rate accordingly looking into maintenance period for 1 years. The amount of annual maintenance can claimed by the contractor paid after completion of every three months. The security deposit @ 2.5% deducted shall be released after completion of entire maintenance period to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge. Non compliance of maintenance, the proportionate amount shall be recovered from the amount as withheld. The agency shall attend the maintenance of the ETP as and when noticed/reported by the department.(2) Electricity at the work site shall be provided by DDA for O & M of the plant ETP.(3) The agency is required to conduct water test of the treated water quaterly to ascertain the required parameters as per terms and condition of the NIT from beginning to till completion of the maintenance period. Payment shall only be released after achieving the standards as per terms and condition of the NIT.(4) Penalty of Rs. 2500/- per day shall be imposed on the contractor for non providing O & M work if the plant is not restored in 48 hours on any single day due to his ownfault except any FORCE MAJEURE.(5) Performance guarantee on the completion of work shall be released proportionately of amount of work and yearly for maintenance period on pro-rata basis.(6) Completion shall be recorded on completion of period of 1year for operation and maltenance of the plant ETP.
