The rates quoted by the tenderer shall deemed to be inclusive for the following provisions in addition to the other conditions specified in the tender documents. No claim whatsoever shall be entertained at a later date on this account:-[i] The repairs shall be done by skilled workmen in the relevant field to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge. The contractor shall engage sufficient manpower for the entire period so that progress of work shall not be hampered due to non availability of labour at any time.[ii] The contractor or his authorised representative wil submit his cell number to the Engr-in-Charge The contractor on getting information through Site order / Works diary/sms/whatsapp regarding the nature of repair to be carried out, he shall immediately respond to the same and make all out efforts to carry out the same on priority within 48 hours. In case of any delay in responding / attending the repairs within 48 hours, the GE may at his absolute discretion impose penalty on the contractor at Rs. 1000/- per day per each work ordered upto 05(Five) days and Rs. 2000/- per day thereafter till completion of the work in case of delay without valid reasons as decided by GE.[iii] Further, the above penalty is applicable even for the multiple locations of work at the same period. It is the responsibility of contractor to make suitable arrangements for attending the repairs simultaneously at all the places.[iv] The decision of the GE as to whether a particular repair has been attended or not on a particular day will be final and binding.
