This includes but is not limited to: . Formation of trains, completion of functional tests and running of trains in the Depot. . Integrated testing and commissioning of trains in the nominated Depot and on the sections in conjunction with other Designated Contractors. . Instrumentation Tests and Oscillation trials on prototype trains only as necessary for obtaining sanction of statutory authorities. . Service trial and Final commissioning of trains. . All instrumentation, computers, and any other item including supervisory and operating staff essential for testing, commissioning and service trials of trains etc. will be provided by the Contractor. . However the value for the option to increase/decrease the quantities shall be within the ±15% of the Contract Price.For increased quantities, payment to the contractor shall be on the basis of actual supplies made and quoted unit rates and no escalation or any other additional sums shall be payable. Any increase/decrease in quantities may be intimated at any time till completion of 5 years after taking over of the last trainset by DMRC. The delivery schedule for the enhanced quantities shall be mutually agreed. 4.0 Contractor shall indicate the annual percentage escalation/deflation that will be applicable for increase or decrease of the unit cost of each item/spare listed in Annexures GA1, GA2 and GA5 for procurement by Employer for a period of upto five years after completion of five years from the date of taking over of last trainset by DMRC.For avoidance of doubt, following example is provided:Say, the date of taking over of last trainset is 07-Nov-2024, then the price quoted for each item/spare listed in Annexures GA1, GA2 and GA5 shall be applicable till 06-Nov-2029 and the annual percentage escalation/deflation on the price quoted for each item/spare listed in Annexures GA1, GA2 and GA5 shall be applicable for the period from 07-Nov-2029 to 05-Nov-2034. 5.0 Employer may exercise the option to procure individual Spares listed in Annexures GA1, GA2 and GA5 by the Bidder at any time within five years after completion of five years from the date of taking over of last trainset by DMRC. Procurement Price in such case shall be calculated by considering the percentage of increase/decrease per annum (with minimum duration as one month) as quoted by the Contractor in Annexures GA1, GA2 and GA5For avoidance of doubt, following example is provided:Say, the date of taking over of last trainset is 07-Nov-2024, then the price quoted for each item/spare listed in Annexures GA1, GA2 and GA5 shall remain same for the supplies instructed/ordered by DMRC till 06-Nov-2029.
