| 1 | M&L for Dismantling/ taking down old existing unserviceable cement plaster, loose/ unsound weaken cement concrete of any description and in any position from existing external / internal surface of RCC roof/ slab/ beams/ columns/ RCC facias for an average depth of 25mm (Approx height 7.5m from natural ground level) with power driven pneumatic flat/pointed chisel and removing the honeycombed area including all the corners and making a neat profile of the cavities, roughen the smooth surface , scrapping out/removing corrosion all loose/scale/rust etc form the visible reinforcement by applying rust remover such as Rust Off 100 of make M/s Sika India Pvt Ltd, or equivalent in M/s Fosroc Chemicals, M/s BOSTIk India pvt limited, M/s STP Limited, M/s Thermax Limited (as approved by GE) and cleaning the steel reinforcement properly all as per manufacturer instructions and all as specified and directed and comprising of below mentioned process :- |
| 2 | (a) Providing cement based admixed with Sikacim, integral waterproofing liquid M/s Sika India Pvt Ltd, or equivalent in M/s Fosroc Chemicals, , M/s BOSTIk India pvt limited, M/s STP Limited, M/s Thermex Ltd (as approved by GE) @ 0.2% by weight of cement or as per manufacturer’s instructions over a coat of acrylic emulsion bonding agent such as per as Sika Latex in 1:1:3 ratio of Make M/s Sika India Pvt Ltd, or equivalent in M/S Fosroc chemicals, M/s BOSTIk India pvt limited, M/s STP Limited, M/s Thermex Ltd (as approved by GE) having specific gravity of 1.02 or as per manufacturer’s instructions with necessary surface preparation such as creating mechanical key like roughening the surface by scrabbing, grit blasting and cleaning the existing surface using high pressure water jet machine having pressure upto 500 bar pressure to remove the dirt, dust, loose particles , wax, efforencene and other contaminations from the surface of RCC columns/ beams/ slabs/ facia/ any brick/ stone surfaces etc all as per manufacturer instructions and all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. |
| 3 | (b) Providing and applying FRIAZINC R, corrosion inhabiliting Active Zinc rich primer of make M/s Sika India Pvt Ltd, or equivalent in M/s Fosroc Chemicals, , M/s BOSTIk India pvt limited, M/s STP Limited, M/s Thermex Ltd (as approved by GE) along the exposed reinforcement surface property and allowed to dry. |
| 4 | (c) Providing and applying Hibond, Epoxy based Thixotropic bonding adhesive of Make of M/s Sika India Pvt Ltd, or equivalent in M/s Fosroc Chemicals, M/s BOSTIk India pvt limited, M/s STP Limited, M/s Thermex Ltd ( as approved by GE) over the prepared concrete surface to get a good bonding between existing concrete surface and providing Sika Rep Microcrete 4 Fiber reinforced cementitious repair micro concrete of make M/s Sika India Pvt Ltd, or equivalent in M/s Fosroc Chemicals, M/s BOSTIk India pvt limited, M/s STP Limited, M/s Thermex Ltd (as approved by GE) over Epoxy based bonding agent applied area before 6 Hrs etc including providing necessary proportions , bracing and runners to relieve the member from the load coming on it including scaffolding leak proof shuttering with working platform as required and as per design and pattern complete including preparing the surface to match with the existing surface all as specified and directed. |

| 6 | (i) A performance guarantee certificate for two years shall be submitted by the contractor to the GE on completion of work as specified. |
| 7 | (ii) The unit rate quoted for item No. 1 to 4 of BOQ is deemed to be included for Removing of accumulated earth of any width and depth upto 15 cm cleaning/cutting the grass with hand operated petrol/kerosene driven grass cutting machine and removing the grass waste around 3 m from plinth protection to outside MD land Note: Periodicity of cutting of grass shall be before commencement of work and after completion of repairs. |
| 8 | M&L for removing old existing rubbish/battered/useless mixture of the binding materials such as cement / Lime and fine aggregate (<4.5mm retained on IS Sieve), loose/unsound weaken mixture of binding materials such as cement / Lime and coarse Aggregate (>4.5mm retained on IS Sieve), fine Aggregate of any description and in any position from existing external/internal surfaces of RCC components or any surface having average profundity of 15mm (Approx height 10m from natural ground level) by hand tool that has a long metal blade with a sharp edge at the end, chisel and hammer or using robust pneumatic chisel hand tools and removal beyond MoD land including cutting of all edges, making square shoulders of the aperture, coarsen the smooth surfaces, curettage /removing of all deterioted/decayed loose surface complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. |
| 9 | M&L for cleaning and removing all corrosion scales , rust , etc using emery / wire brush and finally cleaning using rust remover & cleaning agent that is one part alkaline based material, with corrosion inhibitors and dispersing agents and supplied as a clear brown solution. The specific gravity shall be 1.2 – 1.22 @ 25°C. The pH value shall be between 9.5 to 10 and the coverage shall be 5 – 6 m2/ L as per manufacturer instructions complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. |
| 10 | M&L for repair to cracks and damaged existing surfaces by Hydrogen Free Expanding And Plasticising Additive . It plasticizes the mix, allowing for substantial reduction in water without affecting the fluidity, thus improving the strength and impermeability, the admixture/ additive in cement to provide non‐shrink properties Cementitious Cable Encapsulation .(a). Fixing of pvc nozzles in zig-zag fashion not more than 50cm c/c on RCC surfaces on all directions as required after drilling holes in concrete, fixing pvc nozzles with fast setting mortar and covering with renderoc plug. The size of holes shall be 20mm dia and 75mm in depth complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. |
| 11 | M&L for applying Polyster Resin based Anchoring material in concrete before fixing nozzle it should typically attains a compressive strength in excess of 20N/mm @ 3 hours and and ultimate compressive strength of 70N/mm in 7 days (50mm x 50mm x 50mm)when tested as per BS 6319 Part 2 : 1983as per manufacturer instructions complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. |
| 12 | M&L for Shear thinning agents in RCC/ walls/ ceiling/ columns/ beams/floor/bricks cracks after opening up in “V” groove manner covering the area of 300mm from central line of crack with the depth of 8 mm complete with three components compound graded filler, E-Resins and Shear thinning agents with adjustable consistency by varying the filler component epoxy resin based complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge. |
| 13 | M&L for applying 2 coats of two component amine cured epoxy mastic coating using Light brush blasting using nonmetallic abrasive leaving a clean, rough and even pattern.it should be based on a 100% epoxy formulation and contains no solvents or water diluents. Apply two coats with brush or squeeze to the existing surface, working well into the substrate.it should achieve Compressive Strength of >70 MPa after 14days, having pot life, minutes at 27⁰C, 100 g >40 mass as per manufacturer instructions complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge |
| 14 | M&L for providing and fixing welded MS wire mesh weighing not less than 1Kg/Sqm of size 50mmX50mm of 2.6mm dia on the prepared surface & surface should be cleaned and be removed from dirt, fungus and all foreign material complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge. |
| 15 | M&L for applying 2 coats of primer slurry prior to the application of the repair mortar having multiple corrosion inhibiting synergies and which is a blend of pc graded fillers corrosion inhibiting additive and re-dispersible polymers in powder form mixed with water for application by brush to coat the reinforcement/steel within 10mm of the finish surface and where chlorides are present so as to achieve adhesion bond strength of 1 MPa to steel. Pot life of 0.5 hr @ 30°C. It shall be workable for not more than 15 minutes at same temperature. The mixed density shall be not more than 2.05. The water/powder ratio shall be 0.3 by weight complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. |
| 16 | M&L for applying 20mm shear thinning fibre reinforced polymer modified , impermeable to aggressive elements, dual shrinkage compensated, cementitious repair mortar with alkali resistant synthetic fibres for exceptional resistance cracking complies ASTM C 109 with flexural strength ASTM C 348 @ 7 days meeting 7N/sqmm, tensile strength @ 7days (ASTM C 307)> 3 N/sqmm, compressive strength of 35MPa at 7 day and 45MPa at 28 days, at the outer or inner RCC which provides excellent bond to concrete, Improves tensile and flexural properties of mortar, Versatile having specific gravity of 1.02 cement sand can be used for finishing purpose complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. |
| 17 | M&L for providing and spraying polyamine cured epoxy coating incorporating a special alkali reactive emulsion breaking system compound over the plastered surface. This impervious film prevents excessive water evaporation which in turn permits more efficient cement hydration, thus reducing shrinkage and increasing durability. It shall have a specific gravity of 1.02 and the minimum application temperature shall be 10°C and the strength of concrete complies with the internationally recognised ASTM C309-90 standards typically within the range of 200 to 285 ml/sqm, SG - 1.02 including all tools and tackles complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in- charge. |
| 18 | M&L for applying 3 coats of corrosion inhibiting, polymer matrix with excellent mechanical properties such as adhesion and elongation as waterproofing barrier coating. It should be non toxic and non-re-emulsifying. Should conform to JIS Z 1535 and IS-3085 and DIN-1048. having Hardness - Shore 'D' scale of 20,wet density of 1.66 g/cc, flexibility at low temperatures, tensile strength > 0.4 MPa, Elongation > 20%, adhesion to substrate greater than 1.5 N/mm², waterproofing to withstand 330 KPa positive pressure and 160 KPa negative pressure, Mixing should be done by electric rotary mixers. The substrate should be free of laitance, loose concrete, dust, oil etc. if applied on screed or any other cementitious surface the surface should be properly cured prior to application complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge |

| 20 | M&L for Sprinkling sand particles of saturant making mechanical key, over which applying Single component, fiber reinforced cementitious repair mortar which is reinforced with specially designed bean shaped, alkali resistant synthetic fibers for exceptional resistance to cracking for a thickness of 10 mm. water ratio of which shall be 0.16, 28 days compressive strength shall be 30 MPa,mixed density shall be 2.18 kg/ltr, flexural strength shall be 6 MPa for 7 days and tensile strength for 7 days shall be more than 2MPa.Its adhesion bond strength shall be greater than 2 MPa with creep strain reduction of 8%.Single component, fiber reinforced cementitious repair mortar.cement and sand can be used for finishing purpose.
