| 11 | Construction of compacted Wet Mix Macadam thick to confirming to clause 406 of MORT&H (Ministry of road transport and highway)specification (4th edition) having as laid, density of 2.2gm/c.c (Two point Two gram per cubic centimeter) by providing laying, spreading and compacting clean, crushed aggregate and granular material(taking 3.3 cum material for 10 sqm (Ten square metre) area conforming to Table 400.10(Physical characteristics) Table 400.11 (grading) of MORT&H (Ministry of road transport and highway)specifications (4th edition). The material shall be premixed with water at OMC in Mixing Plant/Pan type mixer/Pug Mill and mixed material carried to site by tippers and spread uniformly and evenly on the prepared sub base/base by paver finisher of adequate capacity and all high and low spots remedied by removing or adding aggregate, as required and rolled with 8-10 (Eight to ten tones) tones roller to achieved/desired density. It shall included the cost of tools and plants, carriage of material from stacks, templates, barriers, safety temporary warning lamps at night, chowkidar, maintenance of diversion etc. Complete in all respects as per MORT&H (Ministry of road transport and highway) specification and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge. | 15 | Providing and fixing 60 mm thick ISI approved high density rubber moulded precast cement concrete paver blocks grey / coloured designer, polished, manufactured by vibro hydraulic pressure process having wearing layer of 6mm to 8mm thick with Cement and fine aggregate mix ratio 3:1 (three cement and one fine aggregate) and under layer consisting of design mix of cement, sand and fine aggregate having designation M-35 including best quality of colour and hardening agent. The pavers should be complied with tensile strength and breaking load as per BIS 6717-1993 and shall be tested against resistance to wear as per IS:1237-1980. The paver should be laid over a layer of 25 mm thick screened coarse sand to the required slope and filling the joints with fine sand etc. complete in all respect and to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.(NS) |
| 16 | Providing and applying of hot thermoplastic compound 2.5mm thick for edge lines, centre lines, stop lines, zebra crossings, letters, numerals, diagonals and chembrons etc. including reflectorising glass beads @250gms. Per Sqm. Area, thickness of 2.5mm is exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC:35. The finished surface to level, uniform and free from streks and holes. The thermoplastic compound shall be screeded/extruded on the surface in moltan state by suitable machine capable of controlled preparation and laying of surface application of glass beads at a specific rate. The marking should be capable of resisting deformation by traffic, it should not be slippery when wet and marking shall not deteriorate by contact with sodium chloride, Calcium chloride or oil dropping from traffic. The material shall be free from all skin, dirt and foreign objects and shall comply as per table 800-9 and 800-10 complete in all respect as per Clause 803.4.1 of MORT&H specification (5th revision) and to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge.
