| 1 | NOTE FOR ALL PAINITNG ITEMS :-The following precautionary measures shall be ensured by the contractor during execution of work :- (i) Contractor shall deposit entire quantity of materials (proprietory materials) in sealed containers required for painting works covered under subject contract in the custody of Engineer-In-Charge/ Office in charge of unit.(ii) The materials as required shall be issued to contractor by JE/ Engineer-In-Charge on daily basis and the empty containers/ bags shall be deposited in the store of Engineer -In-Charge by the contractor, for verification as per standard consumption/ coverage prescribed by the manufacturers.(iii) Before applying cement base paint/weather proof acrylic emulsion paint contractor shall use the wire brush for the removal of loose paint, dust, algae, moss and filling of crack using crack sealent and cleaning of surface by spray jet. (iv) Application of cement base paint strictly done by spray/mechanical spray machine only, otherwise 30% cost shall be reecovered from the respective item.(v) After completion of painting work contractor shall remove and clean all the droplets/stain of paint left on the floor, glasses and joinery. |
| 2 | NOTE FOR PLUMBING AND SANITARY ITEMS:-(i) Contractor shall deposit entire quantity of plumbing and sanitary wares materials required / covered under subject contract in the custody of Engineer-In-Charge/ Office in charge of unit. (ii) The materials as required shall be issued to contractor by JE/ Engineer-In-Charge on daily basis.(iii) make specified in BOQ will supersede to all. |
| 3 | Demolition of precast concrete block walling built in cement mortar as in manhole including PCC coping. |
| 4 | Taking down cement plaster on wall /concrete surface etc including racking out joints hacking for key scrubing down with water etc all as specified and as directed. |
| 5 | Material and labour for precast cement concrete block masonry using type C1 1:3:6 (20 mm graded aggregate) with solid blocks, exc. 10 cm in width and setting in mortar1:6 complete all as specified and as directed. |
| 6 | Material and labour for rendering 15 mm thick on faces of brick/ PCC block masonry wall using cement plaster 1:4 and rendering is to be finished even and smooth (without using extra cement) complete all as specified and as directed. |
| 7 | Material and labour preparation of newly plastered surface and applying two coat of cement base paint on wall etc complete all as specified and as directed. |
| 8 | Dismantling of plain or corrugated/galvalume steel sheeting, any gauge, thickness, including Nainital or similar pattern roof coverings complete all as specified and as directed. |
| 9 | Supply and fix for pre- painted galvatume aluminum zinc coating GI based corrugated steel sheet 0.50mm thick of an colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof covering/cladding to wall, fixed with self tapping screws complete all as specified and as directed. |
| 10 | Supply and fix for pre-painted galvalume aluminum zinc coating GI based Plain steel sheet 0.50mm thick of any colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in ridge, roof covering/cladding to wall, fixed with self tapping screws complete all as specified and as directed. |
