| 8 | Cleaning of the entire external glass façade, ACP cladding/granite surfaces, stainless steel members, and columns supporting the façade system on the exterior walls of the Auditorium Building with including semi spherical, arch shape area, up to height of 15 meter by deploying adequately trained and skilled manpower. The work shall be carried out using approved cleaning materials, soap solution, tile/facade cleaning chemicals, tools, plants & machinery (T&P), jet spray systems, safety equipment, spider kits, scaffolding/rope access systems, etc., as required at site and in accordance with the specifications, safety norms, and terms & conditions of IUAC. The work shall be executed under close supervision and to the complete satisfaction of the IUAC Engineer-in-Charge, including all incidental works necessary for proper completion of the job and cleaning of facade up to permissible scope and satisfactions. Note: Any damage or breakage to glass panels or other façade components occurring during execution of the work shall be made good by the agency at its own cost, to the satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge. |
| 9 | Providing and carrying out façade maintenance works for prevention of leakages during monsoon season, including removal of existing old/damaged silicone sealant from glass joints, stone cladding joints, and ACP joints, and refilling with approved Dow Corning DC-789 silicone sealant of appropriate colour matching the existing façade, strictly as per the manufacturer’s standard maintenance procedure and technical guidelines as detailed in the product brochure.The item includes providing and fixing backer rods of suitable diameter, masking tapes, surface preparation, cleaning of joints, and all other incidental materials and consumables required to complete the work in a proper and workmanlike manner. The work shall be executed using suitable tools, plants, equipment, safety arrangements, and skilled manpower, and shall include cleaning of the work area after completion. | 47 | Providing and fixing PVC doors/sliding door with hollow PVC panels & M.S. tubular frame MS tube medium gauge tube including 2 coats of enamel paint on M.S. tubes over one coat of primer.: PVC Door: PVC door, single or double leaf with hollow panels of size 78mmx20mm. The door shutter frame will be made of electric resistant welded semi – bright steel tubes of 1.02mm wall thickness, with minimum 1 inch thick with tolerance according to I.S. 4923 – 1968. M.S. Box of 150mm x 40mm of 18-gauge sheet will be fixed in the steel frame to act as a lock rail to house the mortise lock. The door will be held in position by means of 3 MS hinges per shutter. Note: Structural frame work for two name boards including aluminum plate is existing on site and Retro reflective sheet along with ACP sheet base along additional MS support to be provided under the same item's scope. Rectangular area of the ACP sheet only shall be measured for payment). Contractor may see the site before quoting rate to see the actual condition of work/site. The height where board/signage is fix are approx. 9 meter & 15 meters from the roof surface but approx. 20 meters from G.L. No extra payment to be made later for special arrangement to be made at such height for fixing board/signage. |
