The sluice valve and other fittings should be housed in center of the pit. the vertices of the pit should in right angle and champhered .The top cover of the pit will be made out of MS sheet min 3.15 mm thick witth angle iron frame made out of MS angle 40mm x40 mmx 5 mm with galvanised steel hindges two nos ,and locking arrangements duly painted with two coats of water resistant synthetic enamelled paint over one coat of red oxide complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. |
