Excavation in foundation trenches etc.(for pipes & pits upto all depth) in earth work in all classification of earth work such as pick work, jumper work, saturated soil , blasting soft/hard rock or chiselling soft/ hard rock including wedging out of a rock where blasting is prohibited in all lifts including trimming and dressing of sides levelling of beds to correct grades including shoring, strutting, planking, timbering and dewatering where ever required, stacking the serviceable/unserviceable materials/soil separately and after laying and jointing of pipes, returning the usable soil in trenches in 15 CM layers including consolidation of each deposited layers by ramming and watering and then dispositng of all surplus excavated soil, useable materials as directed within all leads/lifts including restoration of metalled surfaces to its original condition and including cost of diversion for traffic night signals, fixing caution boards, crossing over trenches for access to houses fencing etc. complete in all respect within all leads and lifts as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Laying, jointing and testing in trenches to be levelled to grade galvanised mild steel pipe light grade of following nominal diameter including fittings complete in all respect to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge. ( Earth work in trenches to be measured and paid for separately).

Dismentalling of old GI pipe of following nominal diameter complete in all respect to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge. ( Earth work in trenches to be measured and paid for separately).

Laying, Jointing and testing of GI pipe of following dia at site with circumferential butt welding (In two Layers) at both ends according to relevent BIS stanards/approved specification. The welding fo pipe with butt welding should confirm to IS: 816-1969 (with upto date amendment) to make the joint leak proof and air tight including bends of required degree complete in all respects. The welding electrodes shall be as per IS 814-1991 of advani/Oerlinken/L&T or ISI marked make .The Welding of Socket joint sould be done in two layers on both ends of socket to make the joints air tight upto all leads & lift as per entire satisfiction of Engineer- In -Charge
