Painting 2 Nos of 30 meters height exhaust Chimneys and connecting pipes of 6 Nos of D.G. Sets with Zinc Chromate Primer (Anti-corrosive primer specially designed for protection of steel and metal surfaces against rust and corrosion. Provides strong adhesion for subsequent coats and improves durability of the paint system. Work Procedure: • Surface shall be cleaned thoroughly by wire brushing / mechanical cleaning to remove rust, dust, oil and loose scales. • Surface shall be wiped dry and made free from moisture. • One coat of Asian Paints Zinc Chromate Primershall be applied uniformly by brush/roller. • Primer coat shall be allowed to dry completely before application of top coat. Applicable Areas: Chimney body, exhaust pipes, MS channels, MS angles, and other steel structures.)

Painting 2 Nos of 30 meters height exhaust Chimneys and connecting pipes of 6 Nos of D.G. Sets with Heat Resistant Aluminium Paint (Heat resistant aluminium based paint suitable for high temperature surfaces such as chimneys and exhaust pipes.Provides metallic finish, heat reflection and long-lasting protection against flaking, peeling and oxidation. Work Procedure: • After application and drying of Zinc Chromate Primer, surface shall be lightly rubbed and cleaned. • Twocoats of Asian Paints Heat Resistant Aluminium Paint shall be applied evenly. • Adequate drying time shall be maintained between coats as per manufacturer’sspecification. • Coating shall be cured naturally after operation of exhaust system. Applicable Areas: Chimney, hot exhaust pipes, and heat-exposed ducts)

Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture of required colour to give an even shade : One or more coats on old work

Providing and fixing double scaffolding system (cup lock type) on the exterior side, up to seven story height made with 40 mm dia M.S. tube 1.5 m centre to centre, horizontal & vertical tubes joining with cup & lock system with M.S. tubes, M.S. tube challies, M.S. clamps and M.S. staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for the required duration as approved and removing it there after. The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connection with the building etc wherever required for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc. complete as per directions and approval of Engineer-in-charge. The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purpose. The payment will be made once irrespective of duration of scaffolding.
